I have had several hair cuts with Kaila and they always look great and the cut seems to last a long time. What I like is that she cuts my hair so no matter how it blows it still ...

Great hairstylist - Cindy Wade 2/4/2008

I had my hair cut and colored by Cindy Wade for the first time and could not believe the difference in my hair. Cindy's cut was exact and she softened and blended the hair lines. Cindy tamed my natural curl and showed me how to straighten my hair. I have never had a stylist take the time to show me how to duplicate what she did. Now, my color is INCREDIBLE!! She colorerd and highlighted all the right places. I look and feel years younger. Cindy definitely knows hair. more

CINDY WADE- BEST HAIRSTYLIST IN ORANGE COUNTY 1/23/2008

WOW.......Where do I even begin! I just absolutely LOVE this salon!! I was SUPER IMPRESSED by the ULTIMATE service, the UPBEAT energy, and the FRIENDLY staff... but the most important part of this salon is MISS CINDY WADE! She is a definite Blessing!! I moved to southern CA about 2 1/2 years ago and was in desparate need of an hairstylist! As all of us girls know, we can't just walk into a new salon and expect the same level of service that we had gotten from our old stylist. It takes a whole lot of COURAGE to even ask for a NEW HAIRCUT or color, let alone, trust a total stranger. So, to make a long disaster short, after applying several different varieties of store bought products that totally destroyed my hair.... I met CINDY! Her SWEET and CARING personality made my feel extremely COMFORTABLE which got me into the hot seat to begin with. She listened to all my CONCERNS and then explained to me, STEP BY STEP, the process to get my hair HEALTHY again. She took her time w/the coloring process, describing to me what colors would work BEST and why which even got me more EXCITED about my new hair.....She then took her time styling my hair, pulling out TECHNIQUES that I never even seen before, cutting, twisting, shaping, allowing her TALENT to take over. Before I knew it, Cindy had made me into a NEW WOMAN. Not only was the color IMPRESSIVE but the haircut itself was MAGNIFICENT. I never felt so good about my hair in my entire life. CINDY'S THE BEST......A LIFE CHANGING EXPERIENCE!!! YOU ROCK CINDY.....THANKS FOR EVERYTHING!!! more

Kinda like a salon, spa and therapy all in one 7/6/2007

Terry Landers has created a salon that not only gives you a great hair style and color, but SUPER personal service and an environment that is high class without feeling pretentious. I always appreciate how Terry gives great recommendations on how to keep your style even after you leave the salon with suggestions on upkeep. He is great to answer all my questions also. AND he really is a NICE GUY. After sitting in his chair I always walk out in a fantastic mood. So far, I have referred four friends and each one has nothing but a positive experience to report. April Garrett at Salon L SAVED MY LIFE, Seriously!!!!!! 5/23/2007

I was asked to be the Maid of Honor in my bestfriends weddding, shortly thereafter my hair was ruined by my ex-hairdresser.... I was referred to APRIL GARRETT at Salon L and made an appointment ASAP! April was extremely warm and sincere, she took my hair and WORKED MIRACLES with it . I also loved that she took extra time and thru in a conditioning service. April does all of her own work, not like other stylists that I've been to who have their assistants do all of the work while they are sqeezing every person that they can into the day and only spending 15 minutes with each client. April made me look gorgeous, my highlights were amazing and the cut was awesome, I'm getting extensions put in by April after the wedding too (yeah)!!!! I can't wait to visit April at Salon L in six weeks, I'm so glad I can pass the word on and let others ""find"" her too. Pros: Bumble and Bumble / Parking was great / Coffee shop next door more

Terry is pure genius with hair; the caliber of a top New York stylist. Seriously talented, stylish and fantastic. He teases me relentlessly, but I always leave feeling ultra-gorgeous. Pros: Great coffee spot next door Cons: No facials more

Great haircut 2/4/2007

I attended an evening event at Salon L with a friend and won a prize that was a complimentary cut and color. I have a salon I usually go to, but thought I could use the free haircut and color. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at the environment. Though it's in Newport, it didn't have the stuffiness and it wasn't as chaotic as the salon I had been going to. The people were very nice, and the atmosphere was more relaxed, though it was busy as well. Just a good vibe. My cut and color turned out as good or better as what I was used to experiencing. I would definitely recommend Salon L. Pros: Bumble & Bumble product line more

Great hair color! 2/4/2007

Terry corrected my hair color after it was botched at another salon. He calmed my nerves and worked to get it exactly how I wanted it. He did a great job to make sure it was perfect, and kept me entertained with his stories. I haven't laughted so hard in years. The salon is warm and friendly, and I'll definitely be going back. Terry is terrific! 2/4/2007

I love Salon L -- I 've been with Terry since his salon at the Four Seasons hotel. I was worried about him moving the salon since that was such a great location, but this one is great too. Great parking! The staff is warm and friendly -- not the uptight attitude that I've seen in this area. I always love my cut, and Terry actually listens to me when I want to make changes.
