Kaila is the BEST!! 1/8/2011

I have had several hair cuts with Kaila and they always look great and the cut seems to last a long time. What I like is that she cuts my hair so no matter how it blows it still looks great- this is great for the beach. RUN, DON'T WALK to KAILA!! more

Salon L: Best Service and Cut Anywhere 10/22/2010

I've been getting my hair cut by Terry for over 16 years. He didn't always have Salon L. He ran the salon at the Four Seasons for years, exceeding their standards so much that he opened up his own place in Newport Beach. more

Great Service 10/9/2010

My friend referred me to Elizabeth because I wasn't happy with my old hair girl. I was nervous to see someone new but, so glad I finally made the change. I will be going back her her from now on! I am VERY impressed with her. She's fast, creative, and does excellent color and cuts! Her prices are what is really great. Other salons I have been to around here charge two times more than her! Elisabeth is great, the salon is nice, prices are awesome, and I give it five stars! I would definately refer my friends to this lady! more

Elisabeth really knew her color 9/23/2010

I recently went in to have Elisabeth do some touch ups. I always have the problem that my hair turns orange and have never found someone that can do it perfectly. I was SOOO happy to have found Elisabeth. My hair is PERFECT and it is the first time in years it isn't orange at all. I will be going back to her for sure!!! I highly recommend her if you are looking to have your hair colored. more

Bernadette was great! 7/25/2010

I had my hair cut and colored recently by Bernadette at Salon L. She did an outstanding job choosing the perfect color for my face and covered all my gray. She gave me a great cut that I am able to keep up with and listened to what I wanted and could handle with a busy life. I have a special wedding to attend soon and will be going to Bernadette for her help in looking great for it. Pros: Great haircut and color more

I have been going to the same place for 12 years and decided to try Salon L on a recommendation. Drove there from Huntington Beach and had a style cut by Bernadette.... great cut, great service. Lauren is amazing! 2/23/2010

Im new in the area and was nervous about going to a new salon. After doing much research and reading reviews i called Salon L. Im so glad i did. Very friendly staff. Lauren did my highlights and cut, she is soooo great. She has a passion for what she does and is very knowledgable. She was friendly and very easy to talk to. 13 years and no plans to end it 3/31/2009

Terry Landers, owner of Salon L, has done my hair since 1996. I wouldn't dream of ever going to another stylist to do my hair cut or color. He knows my hair and what it can (and can't) do. If something won't work for my hair type, he'll tell me. I have referred friends, relatives, and co-workers to Terry and not one of them has been unhappy with his work. Run, don't walk to Terry. Let him fix your hair. You'll be glad you did. Pros: Great customer service and hair knowledge Cons: What are the drawbacks? more

Newports best salon 3/31/2009

I could not have asked for more !! This salon is a great find if you are looking for a beautiful location and excellent service. The staff is very talented and friendly.The owner Terry helped match me with the perfect stylest. My hair looks so good I have never been treated so well at a salon before everyone that worked there was friendly and helpful they all work together as a team its such a relaxing and care free experince I will be sending all of my friends and family to this wonderful salon. Long, long time Happy Customer 8/8/2008

I've been going to Salon L since the day Terry Landers opened his doors - he's fantastic!!! He owned his own salon out of the old Four Season's Hotel in Newport Beach for many, many years. I was his customer back then and I followed him to his new location. I've never had a bad experience with Terry or any member of his staff from the first moment I sat in his chair. Besides the GREAT haircut I've always had by Terry....... I'm impressed with the genuine kindness and service I get not only from him, but his enitre staff. The Salon is modern and hip, yet you feel at home and comfortable as if you are with family. I highly recommend Salon L to anyone! Terry you're the BEST and I appreciate the great work you do on my hair!!!! Cons: There are none more

I saw Ashley for my color, cut and hair extensions. My hair was dry and very unhealthy, Ashley turned my hair around and it looks great. She uses the best hair extensions that keeps your hair healthy and looking natural. Pros: Great service, skill and prices more

Best Salon in O.C. 2/25/2008

I am so happy with Salon L. Terry is an excellent hair stylist and a master at hair color. If you have ever had an experience where it was difficult to communicate with a hair stylist, you will appreciate Terry. He listens to what you want to do with your hair and will make very helpful suggestions. He made my hair look better than it has ever looked before. The comments I've received from my friends confirm it. They say things like, ""You look younger"", ""It looks so natural"", ""Your hair looks so shiny and healthy"" , ""I love the cut"" , ""Wow, you really look good"", and the list goes on. Many of my friends want to know who did my hair. Terry really cares and will work with you to give you the hairstyle and color that you'll walk out feeling good about. I have never been treated as well at any other hair salon as I was treated at Salon L. more

Cindy Wade - THE BEST!! 2/5/2008

I traveled 2000 miles to have Cindy Wade cut and color my hair. REALLY!! Cindy has been my hair stylist for several years . . . UNFORTUNATELY, in MICHIGAN!! SO, here I am in CA!! In addition, I have scheduled a return visit in April. Definitely worth the trip. I have tried other stylists and have not found anyone as good as she. Cindy has an incredible technique and vision for hair - - - cut or color. CA is very fortunate to have Cindy. Salon L is a perfect fit for Cindy; very professional, energetic, fun and accommodating. When you walk out of the salon you feel ready for the cover of Glamour!! more
