I am so glad I finally found a place where I am completely comfortable! Being a business owner, I thrive on excellent customer service. Joshua exemplifies superb client service with an in depth consultation/analysis of hair type, face shape, life style, etc. Since I moved here 7 years ago, I had yet to find this (what I've been looking for). In addition, my experience continued with education on home care and styling. I am truly pleased with Joshua's professionalism and level of care. His service reminds me of the service at upscale salons in Chicago (where I used to live). Good job, Joshua! I look forward to my next color, cut and style!! :) more

Salon Joshua...GREAT place! 5/19/2011

Time to make a another appointment!!! I moved here from out of State and so glad I found Salon Joshua and recommend it to anyone. I have long hair and have always been picky who cuts it because there's always been too much cut off (in my opinion). I made an appointment with Joshua a couple of months ago and he made feel comfortable right-off-the-bat. You don't get "just a a hair cut" at this place. Joshua explained my hair type and structure, facial shape and recommended the best cut for me and it looked wonderful. more

I'm writing in reguards to michelle's comment.. The stylist she is referring to is not apart of salon joshua at all.. She rents the chair and has her own business.. I am sorry about your experience.. The only other girl that works with salon joshua is my wife.. And she doesn't take new clients. more

horrible color 9/1/2010

I went to Joshua and Boutique to get my hair colored and it turned out horrible! My highlights turned out orange and the color didnt even color my gray! I told the stylist I didnt like it and she said that it would take a few days but would turn brighter....which it never did. This place was nothing but a waste of my time and money! DONT GO HERE! more

Quality cut and color 8/13/2010

Joshua has been doing my hair now for 3 years. I am picky about who I let work on my hair. I've received consistent service and am thrilled that his salon is now in Gilbert!! I was driving way out to Queen Creek, when I first discovered Joshua. I continue to receive several compliments on my color and how natural it looks. I'm also pleased that he explains things well and also offers great tips. more

Extraordinary skill and talent 8/3/2010

Joshua is not only a skilled stylist, but a talented professional. The time he spends consulting with me regarding what I would like my hair to look like plus the appropriate cut, color, and style for my hair type equal AMAZING RESULTS! I always leave with a smile and feeling of gratitude for extraordinary customer service. It is worth the hour drive for me to have Joshua for a stylist! Pros: Time spent consulting with clients and the RESULTS Cons: I live in Goodyear and the salon is in Gilbert!!! more

Cutting Edge Salon 7/30/2010

To be able to find an affordable upscale salon and a professional creative stylist to go above and beyond for new clients is what I have found at Salon Joshua. This husband and wife team are superb!!! I love how they teach you how to take care of your new style and treat you as a friend. My office manager loved my hair so I gave her a business card and other people have commented on my hair. I love the product that was used in my hair also and bought some of that as well. Great Haircuts 7/15/2010

I moved here two years ago and the thing I hate the most is finding a good hair dresser. I went to three other salons and was so disappointed. I found Joshua on city search and now I am so happy. He is very knowledgeable and always listen to my requests. I have cut and color and consider the price reasonable. He is very accommodating and has a great personality. I highly recommended Joshua. Best Stylist I've founr in AZ 7/11/2010

I have been looking for a stylist since we moved here in 2007. Joshua was the third and finally the Stylist (2008) who is consistant, and really understands the need to cut and shape hair according to the shape of your face. I have finally found what I was looking for all these years, someone who knows what cut/color works well with my face shape, hair type, and lifestyle! Joshua is amazing! He took the time to talk with me to make sure that he gave me a cut that works for my life and that is also flattering to my face. He showed me how to style it, so that I would be able to replicate what he created. Joshua is very talented, and yet he is also very affordable. What more could a girl ask for in a stylist? Best Salon in the Valley 5/26/2010

Salon Joshua is conveniently located at the NE corner of Higley & Ray behind Fresh & Easy. I love the covered parking as well as how inviting yet sophisticated the building is. The reason I continue to go to Salon Joshua for my salon needs is that Joshua is very professional as well as practical. He designed a style for my specific needs, cut, colored and styled my hair in reasonable time, and demonstrated HOW to style my hair as he was doing it so that I could replicate that "salon look" at home. This is the step that i have missed at other salons! Knowing what to do with my style once I'm at home doing it myself helps me feel comfortable with my hair and not afraid of new styles. I know that, before I leave, I'll know which products to use, in what order, and how to achieve the look I want. Joshua's prices are incredible. I pay $80 for a cut and color and it beats any cut and color I've gotten elsewhere. I constantly have friends as well as strangers asking where I get my hair done. I love going to salon joshua! My stylist, Joshua, is extremely creative, knowledgable, and confident about styles and haircare.....he knows just how to frame a face with a fantastic style.....he is very supportive for satisfaction! I completely trust him and his ideas! I also love the products he uses and recommends.....i have learned so much and he has taught me alot about my own hair! Its always a fun and pampering experience that I look forward to every 6-8 weeks! Salon Joshua is THANKFULLY still in Queen Creek!!!! 1/25/2009

...And once again, he has done wonders with my hair! I love it!!! This is the only salon I have walked out of NOT thinking "What am I going to do with this???" Joshua truly cares about his clients and takes time to listen to what they want. He uses his extensive knowledge to educate his clients and makes personalized suggestions to make sure you've got the most flattering look. He has also adjusted his prices to help his clients during this tough economic time. At any price though...he's well worth it!!! Salon Joshua is an absolutely rewarding experience every time! still a great salon! and still in queen creek 1/18/2009

I was reffered by my friend Jen to see Joshua for my hair. I was a little werry when I heard that he relocated to a studio, but when I saw how well he put it together it calmed me. Just like I read and from what Jen told me he took his time with my consultation and gave me exactly what I wanted, it gets better. He has dropped his prices even lower then before. Don't hesitate go see Joshua, he know's hair! Pros: great hair! Cons: none more

SALON JOSHUA does the midnight move this past weekend after only 1 year in business at the new shopping center in Queen Creek. Despite several rave reviews on this new Hair Salon, many months of unpaid rent are still owed to the Landlord. Bad business decision! more

I love this place! Shella does an absolutely exceptional job on hair. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Joshua Boutique to ANYONE!! I drive all the way from Ahwatukee to Queen Creek just to get my hair done. That's how great this place is and how awesome my hair always looks once I leave. All the employees are wonderful and so friendly. more

I have always had Josh do my hair and have been pleased every time. I have recently moved to Cali. and still wait to get my hair done in AZ at Josh's salon. I also LOVE the clothes they have! They are all so cute and well priced! more

Worth every dollar! 10/15/2008

This was my first trip to a "Boutique style" salon. My usual haircut experience has been at a mall type establishment, so you can imagine that I nearly choaked when I heard the cost of a cut & color. I went ahead and splurged and boy was I glad I did! Joshua took plenty of time with me, talking about style that best fitted me, etc... The color was absolutely beautiful! And the cut...I can't even describe how awesome it was. I went to a conference shortly after receiving my new do, and you wouldn't believe peoples response, some said that I looked 20 years younger, hey, who am I to argue with that! I'm sold! I will go back because what I got out of my experience has convinced me that in order to look my best, I need to be willing to spend a bit more cash. Thanks Joshua. Pros: you get what you pay for...an awesome look! Cons: It's a bit on the pricey side for these economic times. more

Very relaxing wonderful experience 10/14/2008

I went to Joshua's Boutique looking for a new hair style and color. Joshua spent time sharing his knowledge of hairstyles that would best fit the shape of my face and asking me questions to find out what I liked and disliked. Based on this he made suggestions and went from there. It was a very relaxing, wonderful experience. I have received many compliments on my new hair style since. Thank you Joshua!
