Salon Joshua & Boutique

Salon Joshua Boutique was recommended to me by a friend so I decided to try it. She had gotten her hair cut and colored and it looked so great! It's close to home (yeah!!) and I had already met Liz, so I requested her. She was very personable and sweet. I got a hi-light and LOVED it. She did an awesome job and listened to what I wanted. The salon was very nice and comfortable and the decor was great. I already booked my next appointment and will go back for sure. I met Joshua briefly and thought he was a nice guy! Thanks!! I am very happy with my haircut. My husband loved it too. The salon was overall a very good experience. I really like that there is a hip upscale salon right in my neighborhood, and I won't have to drive a half hour to a good salon anymore. I am excited to go back and get my hair colored. more

I had my hair done by another stylist at a another salon and they did an awful job. I walked out of there looking like carrot top (I am not kidding you). I called up Joshua Boutique and got in the same day with Tiffany and she did an amazing job! She fixed my carrot top hair. I let her know what I was wanting and she made it happen. I had my first experience at Salon Joshua Boutique yesterday and I couldn't be more thrilled. My stylist was owner Joshua McRae. I don't know how many reviews on this site for SJB are real, but I promise you mine is. Joshua did a great job. He took me from blonde to brunette. In all honesty the color is darker than I had hoped but I still love it. What makes me love it more is the cut. Oh my gosh I cannot say enough about my cut! It is EXACTLY what I have been trying to achieve no matter how many different times I've explained my wishes and even shown pictures! Even though my husband doesn't care for the darker color, he admits the cut and style are AWESOME! Way to go Joshua...you have my vote and I have already told so many friends about the salon and "soon to be" boutique! Pros: Fun, easy going, very knoledgable staff more

I had a ton of hair and suddenly I was so tired of it I had to do something fast! I called salon Joshua and told him that I needed a great cut by a great stylist. I made the appointment and from the moment I walked through the door, I was impressed! I have told everyone that I have never been to a better stylist. Joshua explained how my hair should look based on my size and the shape of my face. I have always wanted someone experienced to tell me what I should do with my hair. I was definitely nervous about what he recommended because it was shorter than what I had in mind. But when he got done, it looked great! I am so pleased and so happy that I listened to what Joshua had to say! I would never have gotten this haircut at another salon because they would have just asked me what I wanted. I went to Joshua after having gone to the same hairdresser for 5 years. The experience was amazing from the moment i walked into the salon. Joshua was coloring and cutting my hair. He asked about my lifestyle and my work. My hair was long and I wanted a change after having the same style for so many years. I thought I wanted it cut shorter, colored and highlights. Well, he recommended we color it all one color a deep dark rich brown which is my normal color (kinda like going back to my roots) with no highlights and cut a substantial amount of hair off making it just below my shoulders and layered with a side bangs. All the time he was doing my hair he was explaining what he was doing and how I could do it also when I got home. My hair looks amazing. It is quick to style and looks just like when I left the salon everyday. When I got to work on Monday morning I heard words like stunning and exquisite (literally) from my co-workers. Everytime I look in the mirror I am amazed at the difference he made. If your thinking about going and drove by there 15 time like I did before I made the appointment JUST DO IT because your experience will be wonderful. Thank You Joshua!!!! This was my first time going to salon joshua, I usually go to Mood Swings in Scottsdale but now living in Queen Creek I needed something closer. The experience was great and my hair came out amazing. It has to be the best my hair has looked ever! The salon is great, really personal and my hair dresser listen to everything i wanted and did a GREAT job. My color looks great and she didnt fry my hair like all my other experiences. Since getting my hair done I have got so many complments on how good my hair cut and color looks.I will never go anywhere else but salon joshua!! I'm amazed all these fantastic comments about "The Joshua" he sounds like the best hairdresser around. Well I had a much diffrent experience than most on this site. From the very minute I walked through the door I felt bad energy, especially when I sat in the chair of Joshua. He made me feel very uncomfortable the entire time from start to finish. Not once did he talk about what I wanted to do with my hair it was all about him. "Maybe because I'm very attractive" So those of you that say this place compares to Scottsdale please think again this place is nowhere near the quality you get in Scottsdale. Its just the same old salon you get on each corner here in Arizona. Sorry but I will not be recommending Joshua to any of my friends in the Church. This salon is wonderful, it has everything you would need to provide yourself with a day of pampering. Joshua not only provides you with great service but he also educates you on how to take care of your hair, talk about service! This is not a one time deal for him, I went in to the salon the day after my hair appointment for a facial and I overheard him providing the same time and assistance with educating another client of his. Normally at a salon you get faux service w/ a fake smile, here you feel that they really care about you and that is because they do. They take the time to get to know you and your wants before they even start cutting/coloring. As a matter of fact, I just recommened Salon Joshua to my sister and my home group. Just try them once and you will not want to go anywhere else. more

I have not yet been to the salon joshua boutique. But I have known their new Aesthetician for many years. I visited her at school when she needed someone to practice her waxing, facial, and massage skills. She has a way with people's faces, as I know that many of her other friends have also discovered the secret of skin maintenance with her expertise. She was always very imformative on all the best skin care products available. I sincerely recommend all to visit her there for a wonderful experience in all aspects of aesthetics. more

Salon Joshua Boutique is the best salon that I have visited in Arizona, including Scottsdale. Joshua was very informative and he made such improvements on my hair. I decided to trust his judgement and I could not be happier. I will be recommending him to others and I will return to the salon. I have been waiting for Jackie to be back in service to work on my back. She is WONDERFUL! I suffer from scoliosis and she knows how to work all my kinks out!
