Fun hair at Salon Jack! 8/22/2008

What a fun hair salon. I've seen to different people at this salon, love them both. The entire staff is curtious and friendly, and i always enjoy my time there. My hair is fun. These people are true hair professionals. They know their, colors and most of all, how to really cut someone's hair to make them feel beautiful and unique. Highly reccomended more

Unpretentious salon, talented stylist 6/1/2008

I sarted going to Salon Jack over a year ago. Needed a reasonably priced haircut, I saw the reviews on Citysearch, and I was new to the area, Being from N.Y I went with little expectation. Much to my delight, I met a very talented stylist -Chad- whom I have since become a loyal fan and client. He has given me great cuts over the year. Plus I am often asked where I get my haircut. When I want any type of change, I ask Chad's advice, and he has given me his professional opinion about what looks good and what doesn't. I have complete faith in his talent, and think he is hilarious as well. As for the salon, I have spent a lot more at other places and have been a lot less satisfied. They should change the name of the place to Salon J erk Me Around because that is all they do. I wanted my hair to be cut and colored. They said that they could not do both on the same day dut to religious beliefs. So I decided to just get my hair colored, I wanted it aqua green but they died it a marine green. this fudge up ruined my entire week. more

I actually booked an appointment at Salon Jack yesterday after finding this site and reading the reviews. I spent much of my adult life going to top salons for cut and color, but since moving to FL 2 1/2 years ago, had not found anyone who could really cut (or color) hair. Honestly, I was a little hesitant because of my experiences, but what did I have to lose - more hair? Pride? \r \r Phil was beautiful, nice, AND he gave me an amazing haircut. This is the best haircut - by FAR - that I've had since I've been here. I can't really review the salon adequately, because the best of my experience was all about Phil. He rocks. I will definitely be going back. I have regained my hot mama status with this new haircut. Thanks, Phil! Pros: Phil, skill, time, attention, beautiful cut Cons: that I didn't find it sooner more

I booked an appointment i hadn't had a professional cut for sometime. I was only in the Bay area here for a few days, and I read many of the reviews for Salon Jack so i decided to give them a try. I was very taken with the staff, and my stylist, Chad. The work that Chad performed was not only brilliant , but his style and work manner helped me relax ( I'M generally very concerned that stylists don't listen to me). I was very impressed with everyone on the staff. I would highly recommend Salon Jack. more

Chad cut my hair and he did such a wonderful job. We talked prior to the cut about what my ideas were and he was quick to pick up on my vision, and add a few cool suggestions along the way . I like the way it can be worn straight or curly as I have curly hair. Clay gave me a really good shampoo prior to my hair do. Chad and his salon is Highly recommended on my list.\r more

I highly recommend Chad for a haircut at Salon Jack. He has more experience than anyone I've ever gone to. He was on time, pleasant and detail oriented. I love this haircut; it's so easy! Excellent color from the girl from Vegas 2/14/2008

I am pretty new to the area and had no idea where to go for a haircut and most important a color. I found an ad on craigslist and they had a website . I went to their website and they present themselves as fun and knoeledgeable. I also came here to CitySearch to see if there were any reviews Nicole had a lot of possitive reviews on her. \r I called them to see about a consultation and possible color. They were able to accomodate me the next day. She complimented me on my hair and told me she would be able to meet my needs. The color came out perfect. I love it. I would highly recommend you try this place if you have no idea where to go. A very clean and fun salon. I will definitely go back. Pros: great location, personable staff more

In my opinion, this is the best salon in Tampa Bay. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and friendly and the staff is superb. I've been going to Chad at his Salon for over 5 years. I get my hair color and cut at his salon (Salon Jack). To date, ive recommended over 12 people to this salon with my common suggestion: ""Doesnt really matter who you go to....they are all fabulous"" The salon offers an inviting upbeat atmosphere & the staff is friendly, fun & highly skilled. Phil has cut my hair for over two years now and I consistently and regularly receive compliments from people about my hair. Not only does Phil have exceptional talent in cutting and styling hair, but he also puts forth great effort in tailoring the cut so that it looks good on *you*. He actively considers how maintenance of your hair will impact your lifestyle and vice versa (i.e. he won't give you a high-maintenance hairstyle once he learns that you don't want to expend the time and energy maintaining it) and successfully works with you to help you develop your own unique style that *you* find comfortable. This hair salon is fantastic. I just got the best hair cut of my life! The stylist was very nice and professional with great cutting technique. She did my hair exactly how I had asked and customized my request to suit my look and hectic lifestyle. Until now, I have had such a hard time finding an excellent hair stylist. I had always admired the salesgirl's hair at Neiman Marcus and so that's how I heard about Salon Jack. My service was excellent. I had an fantastic head massage topped up with an excellent shampoo. I also had a glossy treatment done to my hair to add some shine; so happy with that too. Excellent overall. This salon is definitely what a girl needs. Great modern haircut 2/3/2008

That's how I felt after having my hair cut by Chad at Salon Jack. It looks nice!! He's a very talented stylist and good at his craft. I walked in with dull and boring hair and left with a nice, trendy and stylish hair cut. I liked this salon it had a fun atmospher. I will be coming with friends next time. Nicole is THE BEST COLORIST EVER !!!! 1/29/2008

A few weeks ago I had the best experience visiting Salon Jack. Nicole was my stylist and I have never been more satisfied with my hair! I have naturally dark hair and it a challenge to get my roots to look natural with my blonde highlights has. I left the Salon Jack feeling like a billion dollars! I have had a problem finding anyone in my area of Florida that can compare to her and will be returning next month to have Nicole do her magic again!\r \r \r more

Friendly and incredibly talented stylists 1/28/2008

I've been to Salon Jack several times now and I always see Phil. His sense of what looks good on me is always so right on that I generally let him do whatever he thinks will look best. I've loved all of my cuts and color that I've gotten from him, and I always get tons of compliments. In fact, four of my friends now also see Phil at Salon Jack and are devoted to his genius as well. The rest of the stylists and staff are also incredibly friendly and talented, and I've never had anything less than an excellent experience there. more
