Salon Disegno

Everytime I've come to this salon i've been treated wonderfully and professionally. The stylist listen to what you want they discuss how to do it with you. I've been to salons where a stylist will do what htey think is best despite what I say I want and I've walked away looking pretty rediculous from those salons thats never happened at salon disegno. Its a wonderful experience. I highly recommend them for anyhting; cut, color, or highlight i've had all three done here before and have found my salon home. :) more

I went to Kat for my hair cut and loved it. I have super long hair and I like to keep it healthy and long but still have volume, so she cut the perfect layers that made my hair easy to style and still long. I really like the people that work there all of them are very sweet and welcoming. I will keep coming back for the great deals and good cuts! Pros: gave me an amazing cut Cons: none! more

I always get tons of compliments on my haircut and I owe it all to April for always doing an amazing job! She takes the time to listen to what I want and then makes it happen! Even when I'm not quite sure what I want, I always leave with a smile on my face. I just wanted to let you know what a wonderful job Kat did when she gave me a perm last month. I absolutely loved the arrangement of the perm rods, I can’t remember what she called the arrangement of the rods, but it keeps your hair from having a definite straight part. The rods are scattered (for lack of a better word) across the top of your head, instead of the traditional row straight back on the top of your head. The perm also had the exact amount of curl that I wanted and did not damage my hair. Definitely the best perm I have ever gotten. SD is phenomenal! The staff takes great care of each individual & is extremely knowledgeable about their field of expertise! Martha is my personal stylist & in my opinion...she hung the moon! My son and I are both curly haired folk and WE LOVE SALON DISEGNO! We see Martha and she is fabulous. She has curly hair herself. I always feel like she takes the time to listen to what I want and does her absolute best to give me the results I'm looking for. I have never had my hair colored here but I intend to in the next couple months. I will say the other ladies I see leave with color look wonderful. Never brassy or tacky painted on looks! My son is 10 and starting to care about his hair and when ever I say you need a hair cut he says, ""Can I go see Ms. Martha!?"". Its because he gets such compliments on his hair afterwards. Tony will sit with you and listen to what your looking for in the style and color that you want. I have had the pleasure of having Tony do my hair as well as my mother-in-law's. You walk in and are immediately welcomed by the staff and the atmosphere!! I always have Kat cut and color my hair and she always knows exactly what I want! I've had my hair both cut and colored at Salon Disegno and have been thrilled with the results of both! I've never been kept waiting past my appointment time and everyone on the staff is so friendly! It's such a great atmosphere. The prices are VERY reasonable and the results are nothing short of perfection!\r \r (and the drawings that the salon puts on throughout the year are a fun touch!) It's nice when you walk in a salon and feel welcome. Not only that, the staff listens, which is hard to find in a salon today. Professional advice is given, so as to keep your hair healthy and happy. Martha does my hair and has never done a bad job. She has been doing it now for over a year and a half. Every time I want something new, she comes up with an idea that works and works well. I think she is an expert with curly unmanageable hair. Brandon does a spectacular job with the boys, giving them cuts they appreciate and taking the time to find out what they want as well. The owners, Dave and Stacy work hard to maintain a professional yet friendly environment. Stacy also does hair, and is a color genius. It seems to me that this Salon is fresh and new, only being here for two years. Not only that, but they cater to those clients as well who are more reserved with their hair choices. I don't know who wrote that review in 2006, but they sure haven't been to Salon Disegno. I am thinking they went to the old salon before the present owners purchased it. All I know is, I wouldn't know what in the heck to do with my hair if I didn't have Salon Disegno. P.S. My sister in law who lives in Pennsylvania is getting her hair cut done here because she feels so comfortable with the staff. Pros: Listens well to the customer. more

I found this Salon through Redken dot com. The owner Stacy is a certified Redken Colorist. From the minute I walked in the door I was made to fell right at home. My stylist Stacy took the time to have a proper consultation with me in order to find out exactly what I wanted. She listen to what I wanted and then was able to give me exaclty what I wanted!!! I have never been happier with my cut and color and have finally found a new Salon that Iove!! Pros: Very Talented and Educated Stylist more

This salon is definitely on the decline. It is not customer friendly. Practices such as requiring cash for tips and surcharges per service have driven numerous folks to other more professional environments. It is a shame because there is talent in the salon.
