I love the direction that this salon is going. They want to do more than just wash and style your hair. It is an experience and when I walk out I feel like a million bucks. I recommend this salon to my friends because the service is A+, the ambiance is soothing and relaxing and the decor is top of the line, and the service is top of the line. This salon is very comfortable and friendly! When I go I get relaxers and my hair always turns out straight, shiny, and it has product in it but it can BREATHE! which I love and I have yet to have a bad experience here, so i would definitely recommend it! more

Went to get a mani/pedi and wish I would have heeded the other reviews on here before wasting my time & money. The people were very friendly, but the quality of the mani/pedis was awful! For my manicure, the lady didn't even trim my hang nails or push back my cuticles (which I didn't notice at the salon since the lighting was dim). I had to come home and do that after having to remove my nail polish since it started flaking that very day! So disappointed. more

Don't get eyelash extensions here. They cost $200 and they lasted a week when they were supposed to last several weeks. I also now have worse eyelashes than when I got the extensions because the lashes fell out with my lash attached, thus I lost about 60 of my own lashes in a weeks time. I have contacted them about the issue with no response. more

I had one of the best shampoos of my life. It was a great experience. My hair stylist was wonderful. Very professional and skilled, but also very friendly and open. I wasn't expecting to be there for 2 hours for a haircut, but I can't say that I tried to rush either. Also, I'm not used to spending that much on my hair, so it was a bit of a sticker shock. But, with my groupon, it was well worth the cost. It was one of the best haircuts I've ever had. Great place to be! I had an amazing extension service in a private room. They offered me beverages and hor d'oeuvres. Along with that I recieved an awesome shampoo with a scalp massage and a complimentary paraffin for my hands. Pros: Atmosphere, Smiles, Quality Service more

I had been looking for a great professional salon since I moved to Kansas City from San Diego and I finally found one. I researched the internet and first of all they had a website. I was able to meet their team, look at the work and learn about the products they used before I went in. I made my appointment online, and got a response within an hour. I received a reminder 2 days before my appointment and when I arrived for my service, everyone was so professional and kind, my stylist took time to answer all my questions and give me a color and cut that I would be totally satisfied with. I've been to alot of salons in my life, and Salon Ambiance ranks up there with some of the best. Pros: Great Customer Service, Time Friendly and Awesome Color Cons: Closed on Sundays and Mondays more
