Some friends of mine introduced me to Sakebomber not too long ago and now my girlfriend and I go there all the time. There are 4 factors I consider when I write a review for a restaurant:
Atmosphere: Very nice. Music isn't terrible (mostly acid jazz and the occasional drum n' bass song), not too dark, and not loud. Not crowded, and rarely too busy.
Service: Very attentive and patient. Food comes out relatively quick and all the servers and staff are very nice. we've been here several times and not once have we had complaints.
Food: Really, really tasty. I've had a lot on their menu and I've never been disappointed. The sushi, sashimi and various rolls are of good quality (I'm no sushi snob, but I know good sushi when I eat it) and the portions are right (6-8 rolls per plate). The specials are wild and tasty. GET THE CRAB PEOPLE ROLL. Their other dishes (chicken katsu plate, etc) are very nice and I've not been disappointed yet.
Price: Extremely fair in comparison to other places. Most signature rolls are between $4-10 and their happy hour goes on for what seems like an eternity. I've never spent more than $50 on up to 4 people, and that includes drinks and multiple rolls, and I don't leave hungry. Beers and bombers range in between $3-6 and their infused sakes are cheap and really nice.
Seriously, give this place a try. You get good quality food at a very reasonable price, and the atmosphere isn't a giant bowl of suck. I'm looking at you, RA and Sake-Tini.
