This restaurant has evolved over our several dining experiences from a great place to take your family but can still be awesome for a dinner for two. The Sashimi is always fresh and there's a great selection of rolls. We started out ordering the Mexican Roll, was our favorite, but now order Something Wrong, Who'sYour Daddy and Dancing Eel. The rolls come with great sauces and if you don't care for something or don' know what to order, KC (Chef) is great at explaining his menu or making something specific for your taste buds. Sake Toro, conveniently located off the Tollway, is a sleek and inviting corner restaurant with an attentive staff and top rate sushi. The owner works the sushi bar with another master sushi chef. We always let those two decide what to serve us on any given night and everything has been delicious. Prices are in line with other sushi bars north of Dallas/Ft Worth. Full bar, eclectic menu choices, exciting decor and warm atmosphere. What more could you ask for? more

whether it be lunch or dinner, ALL of the food is fantastic. I am a very picky eater and for me to say this about food....it has to be delicious. The only thing I would say needs work is the timing of the dishes. I tend to always get my sushi at the same time I get my appetizer. Another thing is if I'm in a group of people and some would order kitchen food and some sushi, sometimes, if they're busy, the kitchen food would come out WAY earlier than the sushi. I mean it's definitely worth the wait, but it's kind of odd. PLUS the host, or I don't really know what she is sometimes lingers around me for a LONG time. I just went to this frisco sushi restaurant on Coleman ( frisco square) and had a bento box for lunch. What a GREAT bargan. Not only was it ample portions but fresh fresh fresh sushi! It included a big tempura shrimp and veggies, soup, salad, steamed rice, california roll and choice of main dish. I had the chicken and it was actually too much food for me to finish. The price was $8.95!!!! This is the FIRST sushi restaurant with a bento box I have found under $15.00. Great value, great location in Frisco, right near the Pizza hut ball park. next time I htink I will go for their happy hour that is ever changing. Call for daily specials aqnd great sushi in Frisco!
