Worst service I've ever had .... Sushi was ok and food was not worth the price. The soup they severed was so nasty I thought I was going to get sick from just the smell of it. Over cooked my rare steak and I told them very rare! Meal came out before Sushi !! I would never go back again even for the buy one get one free sushi! more

Sake House has awesome sushi! Their cleanliness score is always high, the staff is friendly and the prices are very good! They have buy one get on roll free specials which are always great. i definitely recommend visiting! more

I was so happy a sushi restaurant opened in North Raleigh and I have never been disappointed! I ate there tonight and had the Annie Roll for the first time, which is amazing! They also have buy one get one free roll specials during the week, and a private room to have a little get together in! You should definitely try it out. PS- It's kid-friendly but large enough you wouldn't be able to hear if a kid had a meltdown anyways, a win-win! more

This place is the best if you want good sushi at a great price. If you're going to go, try to go Sunday through Thursday - you get 1/2 off sushi if you buy two rolls. Even if you go during a weekend, the prices are great and the service is fantastic. more

We've tried every sushi restaurant within 10 miles of this place and Sake House is still the best. We like Mura and Tasu as well, but Sake has become one of our favorite places to eat . The service is always great as well. If you like sushi, come to Sake House. more

where else can you get 3 exceptional sushi rolls with Miso soup and a salad with the best Ginger dressing ever complete with good atmosphere and all that for only . Sake House has the best sushi I have had in Raleigh hands down - probably the best I have had anywhere (I often get sushi when traveling for business). The sushi is always fresh, and the sushi chefs are amazingly creative. New rolls hit the menu frequently - try the swimming monkey - awesome! The service is excellent, and nice touches inisde the restaurant make it warm and inviting. And you can't beat buy-one-get-one Sun - Thurs. The only way to go when your kids like sushi too! We've tried a bunch of Sushi restaurants in Raleigh and have been most impressed with the Sake House. Compared to other places nearby, the sushi at Sake House is by-far the freshest. The sushi is consistently excellent and the service is always good, albeit rarely outstanding. The rolls are full-price on weekends but are buy one, get one free, Sunday - Thursday. \r \r We're moving out of the state soon and hope to find a new sushi spot whose freshness compares. Sake house has some of the best sushi I've ever had (from NY to LA). They have some very creative rolls (my personal favorites are the Raleigh Roll and the Private Roll). Sunday thru Thursday all the sushi is buy one get one free. You can't beat that!\r \r The service is always very attentive too. I am amazed to see the latest comment posted about these folks. My brother and I have lunch there every Friday after our workouts which have taken place over the last 18 months. Jimmy and Angela who own Sake House are fantastic. The manager Chris and his staff go above and beyond for us. They are always on time with refills, or anything else we may need. I have enjoyed many of the different rolls and sashimi they offer. They always come fresh, flavorful, and pleasing to the eye. The best thing is they know us by name and always treat our guests the same way they treat us. I have referred many folks here and have heard only praises come back. My reccomendation is that if you ever have a bad experience with an eating establishment, give them another try. Before you start your second meal speak to the manager and let them know you are giving them a second chance. This gives them a heads up that you are paying close attention to their service and preparation. You are paying so they should do their best. Deifinately give them another try . This restaurant has some of the worst service that I have encountered in some time. We went there tonight and asked if the advertised special of buy one get one free sushi rolls was valid. The waitress told us no but we could get the $70 ""Valentines day"" special. We declined and ordered 3 rolls - Salmon roll, Alaskan Roll, Rainbow Roll. When our order came out - they got the Salmon and Rainbow rolls correct. Instead of the Alaskan roll we were given the Salmon skin roll - we didn't order it. When we asked the waitress about the roll (it looked completely different from the menu description) - the manager came out. He proceeded to tell us that ""This is the Alaskan roll- its actually one of my favorites"". When we said we didn't want the Salmon Skin roll he offered a different roll- we ordered a plain tuna roll instead. When the check came we were billed for the Alaskan roll and the Rainbow roll. When i got home I looked at the menu on-line and recognized what a screwup they made. When I called to discuss this - I was actually told that it WAS buy one-get-one -roll night and the waitress was just new. I spoke to the manager about this who was then rude and arrogant -he tried to blame us for ordering the wrong rolls!!!. I will never go back to this restaurant - they don't know their menu (despite what the manager claims). The staff are incompetent and if a mistake is made on their part- they will try to blame you for it!!!!!! Cons: rude manager - incompetent staff more
