Sagar Sweet

I was there with few of my friends. We were there for chicken beriyani . After entered this restaurant I felt like my home. It had good atmosphere. When we started eating beriyani, suddenly I felt a good and strange good felling in my mouth. wow that was awesome. I never eat such like beriyani before. Who was the chef. It was so delicious food and healthy. I ate two plates of beriyani alone. My friends were too. There felling was just like me. They have so many dishes. If I have a large belly and more money I ate them all. I also took another dish they called shick kabab. loll their smell I still can remember. Mouth watering kabab. That was a great night for me. what about you? I can say all who go there they will have the same feelings. more

This place was just awesome. We ordered a couple of their specialty dishes before dinner, and that started the night off pretty damn nice. For apps we had some awesome naan. It had a curry type of sauce, which I can't remember, but it was sooo good. I would highly recommend this place. Great ambiance. more

All I can say is WOW... from the restaurant space- beautiful mosaic ceiling, knowledgeable staff, amazing food. First, it's great that the main dining room upstairs because we were able to walk and not feel under-dressed. We ordered the small plates-- the kababs, chicken biryani, goat curry, naan. All dishes we chose were impeccable. Dining at sagar restaurant was a great experience and has taken Indian cuisine to the next level of fine dining. more

The owner has excellent manners. He makes you feel at home. Nice food . A very big variety of dishes.Excellent taste more

If you say about Bengali food in new york there is only one name, SAGAR RESTAURENT, The True Bangla test.\r I like their HAZI BIRIANI. I went Puran Dhaka's hazi biriani when i was in Dhaka. I got the same test in Sagar Restaurant.\r Hope U Also like it more

Great desi food, I am not bengali, but everyone I have ever taken to Sagar has loved their food...must try their bihari kabab and chicken roast. They also have really great naan. more
