My review is regarding the Saddleback Emergency Room. At 3am on a Wednesday morning, I drove myself to the emergency room because I was hemorraging. Some ambulance workers assisted me into the waiting room where I was advised to sit on a gurney. The white sheets of the gurney turned red as I was wheeled into a room where to door was almost completely shut.
I had my purse with me with my cell phone and charger. Above me was a row of electrical outlets. I pluged my phone charger in. I called for help as people walked by but I was ignored. I called some family to call into the emergeny room to get someone to help me. The staff was rude to my parents when they called (they were in another state). My husband was on a red eye. After 45 minutes, a worker came in with a clipboard to get my INSURANCE INFORMATION. He said ""Holy Mooly"", dropped his clip board and ran out. Finally, I got help. I told the staff what I, my family went through. The staff just said some basic bs and said ""Now don't worry, we will take care of you"". A few hours later, I had an emergency hysterectomy. My recovery was in a room with a curtain and no bathroom. It may have been Saddleback's state of the art ICU (I'm joking now). I remained in the hospital until Saturday. After I contacted the hospital regarding the emergency room, no one really cared.
When I read a review about a person who was in the emergency room and had to call the main operator to get help, I completely understood.
It may seem funny but it isn't.
Saddleback Emergency, you deserve less than a 1 and the staff that didn't care-I hope you experience or someone dear experiences the same pain that you have caused others.
Go to Mission Hospital, if you have a choice.
