The place needs to expand. It's always overcrowded. The mechanic bull is good entertainment. They serve humongous drinks for about $12. Very well worth the money. You can...

Great customer service! 4/1/2012

Had a great meal for lunch. Everything we ordered was wonderful. This restaurant had the best service I have seen in a long time. The waiters and waitresses were on their toes serving bottomless mimosas. We were greeted by 2 different managers asking if everything was alright. I can see how it may get crazy in there on the weekend nights because I am sure they pack in a crowd. I would have enjoyed watching folks ride the bull. We will definately come back when we are in town again. more

Alot of Fun 9/23/2011

If your looking for a place where a 47 year old male can yell at a twenty something young female, threaten her verbally and call her mother a whore this is definitely it! I tell you it is a lot more fun than riding the bull. more

Great place to eat if you like calling women whores.. 9/23/2011

If your 47 year old man who likes yelling at young women and calling women whores this is the place for you. more

Love Saddle Ranch 8/15/2011

Been going there for a few years. Great food, like the out door seating at the Sunset location. Take the kids to the City Walk location when we are at Universal. They run a lot of Groupons (not just on Groupon either) so if you keep an eye out its possible to get half off fairly frequently. Definitely recommend. J more

Good solid meal 4/11/2011

Do you like steak? if you enjoy a great piece of meat, cooked with care and attention, then you have found your new home. The steaks come out perfect every time. I just enjoy it every time i go here. more

Never dissapoints 8/11/2010

6pm, 10pm or after midnight, always crowded and fun. Getting a drink is always a hassle if you dont have a waiter/waitress but prices are resonable and big portions of drinks. I have tried the food once, which was surprisingly good. more

not bad 4/23/2010

Saddle Ranch is a nice play to go with friends or out on a date. The food is okay but the menu is somewhat overpriced as well as the drinks, but on Tuesdays they have karoake, which is something to check out. Pros: karoake more

dont ever go there!!!!! 2/1/2010

the couchs are too dirty, they look like a homeless fly.And some guy named ""Billy Rogers "" is a stupid dick! Pros: there are none!!!! Cons: couchs are too dirty more

Incredible!! 1/4/2010

A large group of us (all ages, from my friends to my young children) went here for dinner and drinks, and we had the best time ever!! The food was very reasonable, service was wonderful, and our drinks were never low!! We will definetely be back next time we go to the park!!! more

Wooooow 7/23/2009

My friends and I had dinner at Saddle Ranch last night. Wow was the food amazing. The steaks are to die for and are always prepared just right. Our waiter was so friendly and attentive to us. He definately made us feel like part of the Saddle Ranch Family. I love that! Pros: Amazing Food, Amazing Service more

Played out 12/8/2008

This place used to be fun but the times I have gone...its empty. There isn't a fun crowd and i don't want to go back. The drinks and food are pricey. more

Decent 11/19/2008

It was OK. Not the best place in LA. Not the worst place in LA. It was fun. Kitchy. Our server was sweet and nice. (I think she said she was new?) The decor is fun. I get it. When we were finishing up our dinner was when the ""crowd"" was showing up for the more Bar like nightlife. Definitely not where I would hang out for drinks, seeing as how I'm not in a Frat or a Big Boobed Blonde hoping to go home with someone in a Frat. Pros: good food, friendly service Cons: Bar Crowd - noise (unless you're looking for that) more

If I could give this restaurant less than 1 star I would. 10/28/2008

This place has gone downhill. The food was wrong, the server was snooty, the bartenders were rude and the prices were high! We won't be going back. Pros: None Cons: All more

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. ANYWHERE ELSE 10/3/2008

If you are reading this, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Anywhere else. There are so many places to go in Hollywood. Bad crowd, pricey drinks (that are extremely weak) and horrible service. Cons: Too many to list more

A different kind of service 9/15/2008

We usually have had good experiences at the Saddle Ranch on Sunset. But for some reason, last night was lacking in the customer service area. We were there around 12:30am and wanted some breakfast that is served ""3:00-close"" according to their menu. As I ordered my breakfast, the server told me that they weren't serving breakfast. I asked why and she said- ""Because we don't, I mean what time is it?"" We replied- ""Not close"". She said- ""I'm sorry, we're just not..."" It took her a while to get back to us and then when she finally did, she forgot her pen. She was just a mess. We ordered dessert, she brought the bill and came back for the bill before we had even signed it and stood behind my boyfriend while he wrote it out and then apoligized and said ""I just want to go home"". We ate and then gave her a $3 tip on a $50 bill and left. Pros: The Huge Mai Tai's Cons: The service on our visit :( more

Perfect cross between club/restaurant atmosphere 7/22/2008

The high energy at the Sunset Blvd location is only outdone by the restaurant?s huge portion sizes. Drinks to dinner options can feed at least two people in most cases. I?ve never had a bad meal here. Their fish and meat always comes out so juicy, and the biscuits are just heavenly light. Plus, I love their specialty drinks, especially the mai tai that really packs a punch-in flavor as well as other categories. The restaurant is designed to look like a Southwestern saloon, completely with a mechanical bull-ride that definitely provides entertainment all night long with its string of victims. The service has always been very friendly and efficient when I?ve gone, even on Saturdays. The place gets pretty crowded on weekends, and lines for tables can get long, but Saddle Ranch?s fun, high-energy atmosphere always makes it worth the wait for me. Pros: fun atmosphere, food, drinks, service Cons: expensive, long waits more

A very fun time!! 4/14/2008

Went here a few weeks ago for my dad's birthday. GREAT place. If you're looking for a fun, rowdy good time, go here! The food is really good, but HUGE in portion size. The staff is very nice (at least our waiter was), but my favorite part is the mechanical b*ll, which I rode (barely). It's just a great place to kick back and eat. My only suspicion was the staff's looks...they were all beautiful! Hm... Pros: Food, Ambiance, Service Cons: Portion, Parking, Crowded more

VIOLENT, DISHONEST STAFF!!!! 2/10/2008

My friend and I were assaulted by saddle ranch staff after being accused of vandalizing. My friend suffered broken ribs, a concusion and muliple head injuries after being slammed into the ground for questioning their allegations. They are shady, violent, aggressive and corrupt. The west hollywood sheriffs are in their pocket as well, don't bother calling them they will not help. If ever attacked there (and there is a good chance you will be) ask for another agency when calling 911!!! Cons: VIOLENT STAFF more

Annoying staff, annoying crowd 11/24/2007

The Saddle Ranch on Sunset in West Hollywood might as well advertise as a fraternity party. The patrons are noisy, rude, and annoyingly drunk. Most amusing are the swarmy guys circling like vultures looking for the right girl to pick up. The girls tend to be the only ones on the mecho-bull -- with absolutely no talent for it. And the staff are too busy to be friendly. Outside, the staff will harass you if you attempt to catch a cab -- on the public sidewalk no less. Stop in for the novelty but move on quickly. Cons: Nightmare parking more

Amazing service, so friendly, great big portions, un-Hollywood 10/28/2007

I ate at Saddle Ranch twice while in Hollywood and I have to say that this place is an oasis in the middle of Hollywood's scene. The staff is so friendly and all have great personalities. What is surprising as well is that the food comes in huge portions and is fantastic! No fuss, good service, a refuge. Highly recommended. Pros: Service, food, price Cons: Little dirty more
