Best

Had a great meal for lunch. Everything we ordered was wonderful. This restaurant had the best service I have seen in a long time. The waiters and waitresses were on their toes ...

Worst

The place needs to expand. It's always overcrowded. The mechanic bull is good entertainment. They serve humongous drinks for about $12. Very well worth the money. You can...

Keep'm Away 9/6/2002

This place is going down the drain. Use to be a pretty good, young, trendy spot. Now all the rejects from down the street (Dublin's and Miyagis) are taking over. The service (bartenders) are pretty helpful. The place is way over crowded (guys) on Friday and Saturday. Maybe they should be a bit strict at the door to keep the hoodlums away. Pros: Casual dress code, Free entrance Cons: Parking more

Yeee Hawww 7/18/2002

The Saddle Ranch is fun, makes great drinks and the food is pretty good too (if only I could finish it, the portions are made for 3 people!) Hot guys and pretty girls make this a great place for couples & singles alike. more

Young/Fun crowd 6/28/2002

I love the concept. The people and bartenders are friendly. Gotta ride the bull!! Good place to meet people! The fod is good. I love the french toast! more

Always upbeat no matter what day of the week it is. Good place to start the night out on the weekends ! It's hollywood meets the west with the crowds looking hollywood (thank god) and the ambience of a salon. The drinks are.....what else to say....BIG ! more

Ride 'em cowboy! 6/25/2002

I don't care if this place is considered not hip enough. I've had a great time here with friends and have had enjoyed the majority of the people I met here. This is really a fun, unique place! more

Bull riding fun 6/3/2002

Going here is like going to the Mid-West. There's a big mechanical bull to ride..and it's even televised within the bar. It's so hot even Madonna couldn't persude them to sell it to her. Great bar with many types of people to mingle with. Go figure it's the sister restaurant of Miyagui's. more

Too crowded. 6/3/2002

This place is always sholder to sholder people. However, watching the bull riding in the middle of the restaurant is worth the cramped atmosphere. The food is mediocre, and the servers are super busy so don't expect a lot of attention. Overall I think there are better places to go on the strip. more

Avoid the weekends 6/2/2002

But if you must be prepared to get pushed around all night! I still like coming here once in a blue moon to watch people ride the bull. I've never been on it, but it looks like fun. Drinks are high, and so are the steaks. Everyone is dressed and attractive. Cons: crowds, no parking more

ranch dressing please 5/21/2002

Well. It is very big and roomy..but you still get pushed around..Wanna ride the bull? get in line. Want cheese with your wine? stay away from all the fake cowboys.. The bar? Not bad.. more

Do u wanna be a cowboy? 5/20/2002

Right, Saddle Ranch is a good time if you're willing to cheese it up for a night. A few of the Texas sized drinks and a ride on the bull will make your night complete. But don't go unless you're willing to lose yourself in the atmostphere. Otherwise a bunch of Hollywood wannabe cowboys will probably irk you immensely. more

Ride 'em cowboy 5/16/2002

Took my first ride on a mechanical bull at this fun spot. The guy who ran the bull was really cool and gave a beginner good advice -- lean back, keep your strong arm up in the air, squeeze your thighs and hold on. The food was classic cowboy fare. Mashed potatoes and gravy, barbecue. Bring an appetite and some cash. This is one of the largest restaurants on the strip -- vaulted ceiling and a big bar. Roast some smores on a stick in one of the fire barrels ont eh patio after dinner. The valet parking is typical of the Strip. It may take 15 minutes to get your car upon departure because the valets have to move other cars around in the tiny lot. Pros: Fun mechanical bull, Huge bar, Smores Cons: Expensive food more
