My first & only visit to Saddle Creek Woodfired Grill in Lakewood Village was an extreme disappointment to say the very least. While waiting for a table I decided to relieve myself in the ladies room... 1st stall - vomit on the back of the toilet & running down the side and dirt on the outside and bottom of the bowl; 2nd stall - feces was all over the front lip of the bowl where the lid didn't cover; 3rd stall - urine was all over the lid. Needless to say, I left the bathroom without taking care of my business. I went to the manager and told him the state of the bathroom. I mentioned to my husband that I wanted to leave but we decided to give them the chance to take care of it since we had seen the manager tell someone to take care of it. \r

After we were seated, I saw the young lady that ""cleaned"" the ladies room leave and go back up to the hostess area. I decided I could now relieve myself so I went back to the ladies room. The vomit was half way cleaned up in the 1st stall, the feces was still in the 2nd stall and the urine had been wiped off the seat in the 3rd stall. I went back to my booth without taking care of what I went in there for in the first place.\r

Our waitress comes to take our order so I tell her about the condition of the ladies room and told her that I did not see that as a reflection on her but it did concern me about how everything else in the restaurant. If the viewable areas of a restaurant are unkept & unclean then how are things outside of the patrons eyes handled by the staff, i.e. the kitchen. She assured me that the food was handled with the utmost care & attention to cleanliness and immediately went to tell the manager about it.\r

Still trying to be optimistic, we ordered our drinks, appetizer and food. After a little time passed, our drinks arrived and then our appetizer. My son and husband finished their drinks (glass of soda) and placed the empty glass on the edge of the table. Our waitress walked by us 2 times and did not acknowledge the empty glass so my husband asked for a refill. A little time passed, she waited on another table, a little more time passed and then the refills were brought to the table (happens 3 times).\r

The entrees arrives! As she's turning to leave, my husband asked her if I could get a beverage from the bar. More time passes, my drink is sitting at the wait station for her to pick up, she takes a few adult beverages to another table . Finally, she comes to our table and says ""Oh, I forgot about your drink"", walks over to the bar and brings my beverage.\r

We watch our waitress go over to another table and with one of the other employees show them a tray of desserts. Our waitress then brings us our boxes, hands us our check then, as an after thought, asked us if we wanted a dessert and told us a few of the desserts. At this point, I'm very irritated by the whole dining experience and just said ""Nope"".\r

As someone who once waited tables, I tend to tip more than the customary 15% - 20% especially when I get excellent service. However, this dining experience did not even earn the 15%. Instead, we left 12.5% and that was ONLY because I remember what it was like to make less than minimum wage and have to work hard for tips.\r

I do not ever plan to eat at Saddle Creek Woodfire Grill again in the future. Nor will I recommend that any of my friends, acquaintances, co-workers or others that I may encounter waste their time, money or energy to eat at this establishment. \r

The bathrooms were nasty, the service was poor and the food was bland. Spend you money at your own risk.
Pros: They open the door when you enter and leave the restaurant
Cons: They don't understand an enjoyable dining experience
