We recently moved into our new house and after spending one night in the house we have noticed the attic is infested with bats! Ralph was too big to fit into the attic at the time of inspection so I got up there and took numerous pictures for him to look at. While I was up there I noticed a large black pile of what I now know is bat guano but Ralph told us it was ""soot from the chimney"" and didn't make that sound like anything that required immediate attention. We now have to pay a bat specialist up to $1,600 to resolve the problem when we could have had the previous owners take care of the problem prior to purchase. When I confronted Ralph with this his response was that I should have hired a chimney specialist to look at the ""soot"" prior to buying the house, he also suggested that once I buy the house I tear down the chimney because it wasn't worth saving. If I had it to do over again I would not have fallen for Ralph's fancy website and certifications that apparently don't mean anything.
