Michael did an outstanding job fixing the pipe break. First - I really like that S&D sends an email letting you see a picture of the technician that will be arriving. Michael identified himself with a business card and we were good to go. He communicated everything clearly as far as what he would be doing to fix the break, gave me a price quote and then got to work. He kept me up-to-date with everything he was doing, the kind of fix he was making, what pipe he was using, etc. He suggested ways to prevent future breaks and offered to give me a price quote on installing better flexible pipe to eliminate future issues. I was very appreciative of that. Michael also did an inspection of all our plumbing after explaining the cost/service. He provided a detailed overview and suggestions for future changes. He was not "high pressure" at all. I appreciated that Michael understood my husband was out of town and I was kind of freaked out with the whole pipe break thing ... very understanding. I have recommended S&D Plumbing in the past. Now I will tell my friends to ask for Michael as their service technician. After a sewer line back up, 3 contractors came to propose a solution. (It was the 2nd backup in 6 months.) S & D was the only one to clearly show and explain there was no line break, no roots. Analyzed likely cause of back up was lack of water flow from dual flush toilets. Other 2 contractors proposed excavating and replacing sewer line for $2.6 K and $3.6 K. Ended up replacing toilets. Plumber (Jess) was thorough, professional, pleasant and answered all questions with easy to understand language for the non plumber. Highest recommendation! more

I had three different plumbing companies tell me that I had a break in my drain line and 2 used locating cameras. Melvin came out and before he even used his camera, he said he "thought" he knew the problem and it wasn't a break in the drain line. Melvin was correct and it saved me over $10,000. A friend recommended that I call S&D 2 days before I was going to go through the tunnel under my house. Highly recommend. Very honest, straightforward and professional company. more

Michael came over to our house and he fixed the toilet which we could not at all no matter how much we tried. Which fixing the toilet he had also fixed our shower which was awesome! He was very friendly and you could tell he cares a lot about representing his work place well and cares about his job a lot. Great worker and great service and very professional!
