DANGER!! CUIDADO!!! Had to have an emergency root canal and this place was the only one who could take me on a Friday. I was examined by the head ENDO guy... but then I was worked on by a young contract dentist who was taking quite a LONG time. The head guy consults with him, then comes in and says I have one root that is totally calcified but I should be fine. He put some temp fillings and sent me on my way. A few days later I went to have a crown put on it at a REAL dentist in Poway. When the temp was taken off, they found an oozing perforation in the root that they couldn't find and she had to extract the tooth. more

I give these guys one star because zero is not an option. Worst experience ever and I will not go back. Here is why: more

Love this place! Dr Rygg and Dr Mahtab are the best. I had a crown done in one visit and was painless. The girls in the front figured ut my insurance and my copays s I could get started n my first visit. Dawn the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. I was nervouse at first, but after talking to Dawn for a few minutes I felt much more confortable and relaxed. I felt like I was. Visiting a friend. Thank you Town Center Dental. more

Had a great time at the dentist today. I don't have dental insurance and I was able to get a full mouth xray and exam for only $39. It's been awhile since I've had a cleaning so they made me an appointment with the hygienist at no additional cost. Everyone really seemed to care about me. I was able to get in and out in 45minutes. Thanks Dr. Morgan. I don't feel so bad about going to the dentist anymore. Pros: Awesome new dentist more

This place is TERRIBLE!!! I walked away absolutely disgusted by their money making scams!! They can't even do a proper cleaning. Spend the insurance money somewhere else because they don't deserve a dime. They overcharge and the staff is awful!! more

Well, Town Center dental group sucks. HOWEVER Santee Town Center is AWESOME. Just don't go to their oral surgeon- the dentists are freaking great and they work with you on cost a lot. I think the person under me wrote the wrong name of the location. They're owned by the same people but the staff at santee town center is day compared to town center's night. They're quick, honest, and get it right the first time. more

Friends - I just want to let you all know about a dental office here in East County that should be SHUT DOWN. Santee Town Center Dental. The office is inviting, with all the latest high-tech machines... but BEWARE!! They do CRAP work. CRAP!! First they worked on the left side of my mouth. $2000.00 later (out of pocket, that's not including what my insurance covered) and about a month and a half of EXTREME pain, the left side is finally back to normal. You know me, I don't like being on CONSTANT Vicodin... yeah, a month and a half of round the clock pain killers due to their "work". Next was the right side of my mouth. I needed a couple of fillings in two teeth that are next to each other in the back of my mouth. After filling them and sending me home, I was back the next day because they were "setting high", meaning I couldn't close my teeth together. He drilled the fillings down and in doing so, somehow, fused those two teeth together and now I can't floss between them!!! more

I have been going there for years and I never had a problem until they hired an office manager named Roshana. My son needed his wisdom teeth pulled and she told me the office had a great Dr.that could do it. Well 6 months later it still didn't happen. my son's teeth started to swell up so we had to go for an emergency appointment. She sent me to a nice oral surgeon in La Mesa only she never did the referal.When I called the office to find out what the problem was she told me my 16 year old son no longer had any wisdom teeth. I guess the tooth fairy must of taken them because they were there last week. I went to the office in Santee where they told me I my son would need an x-ray and the cost would be 100.00 dollars. What happened to the x-ray they took when they told me son 's teeth were impacted and who's x-ray was she looking at when she told me my son no longer had any wisdom teeth. why should I be charged for an x-ray they lost. Watch out for teeth cleaning they now charge you 180. more

I recently had about $3000 of dental work done at this clinic. The dentist that treated me was nice, and didn't harp on me for not having visited more frequently. They were willing to do as much work in one visit (to a point) as I could tolerate so I would not have to come back so many times( I hate going to the dentist) They have movies you can watch while they work, although from the angle of the seat, it is hard to see, so really you are just listening to it, but that is better than just hearing the drill. more
