Ruth's Chris Steak House

Ruth's Chris is a great steak house, but the side dishes are the best part! Their sweet potato casserole is just the best I've ever had - hands down! more

I will try to make this brief because the more I write about it the hungrier I get. We have been going here since they opened. It is our go to place for B-days, anniversaries and any other special occasion. THE FOOD AND SERVICE are spectacular. Anything more said is not necessary.\r However people, if you don't like steak stay home don't complain. If you are a vegitarian this is not your place and finally if you don't like onions ask first or better yet stay home, less crowded for me. more

Overall I don't completely condemn this place. I believe a lot of the problem is that not being a huge meat eater, I opted to order shrimp at a specialty steak place. Maybe it was my fault, however I was definitely not impressed with this being my first experience ever at this steakhouse.\r The service was great. My boyfriend and I went for dinner last night. We ordered the crab stuffed mushrooms to start, and for some reason they just didn't taste fresh or good to me at all. There were also huge chunks of onion in the crab mixture in which the mushrooms were stuffed with, which was a huge turn off. I had to pick most of them out. I've had fresh crab stuffed mushrooms all of my life, and I could tell these were definitely not fresh. If anything they tasted fishy with huge onion chunks.\r For dinner I made the mistake of ordering their "barbeque shrimp dinner" which arrived to the table presented in a very odd fashion. There were about 8 large shrimp in a bowl with about maybe a spoonful of their "garlic mashed potatoes" in the center, which were completely soggy and almost of liquid consistency. And the best part is that the dish was drowning in some sort of pale orange thick cream sauce??? This is "barbeque" shrimp??? I really can't figure out what exactly I even ate honestly??? The shrimp were definitely fresh, but the dish as a whole was a big mistake on my part.\r Overall my first time at this restaurant was not the greatest. Again, maybe I clearly ordered the wrong dishes, however I will not be back. I didn't find anything redeeming or special about this restaurant at all. No thanks. more

We had been waiting 4 years to go to a Ruths Chris and were so bummed! Took over 5 minutes for the server to acknowledge, service fell below par, steak was cooked correctly but underseasoned, reduction was too salty, and it took 20 mins after we finished for us to get the check. Not sure if it was this Ruths chris or what but not impressed when it comes down to it. Also poor vegetarian options, I'd expect more from them more

I LOVE this restaurant! From the moment I arrived I received excellent service. My server was warm and friendly and brought each course out at just the right time. My delicious filet was served on a hot plate of sizzling butter, which allowed my steak to stay warm until the last bite. This is one of the most beautiful restaurants in Boca Raton and surprisingly quiet with what looked like a full house! I also strongly recommend the Ruth's Chris' exclusive blend of Parducci pinot noir, any steak, their orange mojito, and the sweet potato casserole. Best steak you'll ever eat! more

I am a huge fan of steakhouses and Ruth's has always been my favorite. They grill their steaks in butter, and it may sound fattening (and it is) it is absolutely delicious. The ambience of the restaurant is fantastic, service is a gem, and this is coming from a frequent diner in steakhouses. If you want a classy, quite dinner, among friends and family or a romantic night with the wife, I highly recommend this place. The sweet potato caserol is a MUST! more

They don't serve anything here you couldn't make yourself in like 15 minutes if you know how to cook. Steaks with butter, creamed spinach, baked potatoes, simple fare really. (you would need to buy the prime steaks at a real butcher though) Pros: Atmosphere and Great Service, relaxing Cons: Any competent cook could replicate the food. Nothing that requires a real chef. more
