Nice Guys To Over Charge 1/12/2016

I had an issue with my furnace on one of the coldest days of the new year. Called Rupcoe because they were local and Angelo showed up in less than two hours, very nice guy and knowledgeable of the furnace, but actually anybody could see the blower wasn't working. To make a long story short a two hours later and one new blower motor I was back up and running, only problem it cost me $909 for a $242 part and one hour labor, plus the hour to go get the part... Not happy more

Recent Ceiling leak 9/23/2015

Walked in to a leaking ceiling. Called RupCoe and within an hour Angelo showed up. He thoroughly investigated and located the leak. He was extremely neat, friendly, and knowledgable of the repair needed. He explained everything, repaired the leak, cleaned up and was on his way. He also assisted me in identifying another issue I didn't even know I had in the basement. more

Frozen pipes and kitchen faucet 2/18/2015

Tom K. did an outstanding job, finding where our pipes in the basement were frozen. It appeared to be in the permanent water heater. It took Tom little time to find and remedy the problem. He provided solid advice to assure this was not going to happen again. Then he looked at the kitchen faucet, which appeared beyond repair. He advised the best and most cost effective solution, which we followed up on. We ordered a new faucet, which arrived today and immediately requested Tom K to come back to install the faucet. more

Leak from a pipe going into Hot Water Heater 5/22/2014

Rich N arrived about one hour after I made call to RupCoe Plumbing. He was knowledgeable, polite and efficient. In 45 minutes time he diagnoised problem, provided an estimate and installed a new piece of copper piping. more

Excellent response & service 12/2/2013

Late yesterday I discovered my sewer line was backing up into my basement. I'd never experienced that before and it was very upsetting. I found RupCoe on Angie's list and saw several favorable reviews. I called them about 8:15 this morning and spoke to Sherita (not sure if that's the right spelling). She was wonderful. Originally she said the earliest opening was a 3 to 7pm window. I jumped at it. She called back 30 minutes later to say she could have someone there between 10 and 2. Great!!! Angelo arrived shortly before noon, surveyed the situation and told me what he thought needed to be done. He explained it clearly and thoroughly, including possible pitfalls (none of which were a surprise to me....my house is 90 years old and the problem line was probably original cast iron in less than stellar condition). Angelo gave me an estimate which I thought was very acceptable, so he started work immediately. Within 90 minutes I had functioning plumbing again. Thanks to Angelo and Rupcoe, I can sleep tonight. I need more work on the old plumbing and will definitely call on them again to do it. more
