Rumpshakers Pet Grooming

We had both of our dogs groomed last week at Rumpshakers. This was our 2nd visit to them at thier beautiful new facility. Our lab was shaved short for the summer and our shih tzu we had done in just a cute summer puppy cut. Both dogs were beautifully groomed, smelled great and were in and out in about 2 hours. We also had a coupon that was honored. I will highly recommend them to anyone I know. Also... you should know, per the other review, that Rumpshakers always runs coupons however has NEVER advertised in the Tri-County as we consulted with them about it thinking there was another coupon running. So I only have my own experience to go off of and it was great. I disregard others issues and do not believe the claim. more

I was new to the area and needed to find a place to groom my dog. They had a coupon in the Tri-County, so I thought I would go there. My dog is a bichon mix and very easy-going (has been groomed since he was little). I would drop him off at 10 am and they wouldn't have him ready until 3 pm...sometimes later! She will tell you that she does a lot of "scissor cutting", but his face always ended up "crooked" and the hair on one side was always longer than the other. So much so that even I (with an untrained eye), noticed it. I know dogs can be dramatic when their ears are plucked, but my dog screamed as they did it. And the worst part of all was that the two times I went (yes, I actually thought maybe the first time was a minor screw up), he had cuts all over his belly and nether regions. I don't know if the blades where dull, but he walked around like it was tender for a few days. She was unorganized and not very friendly either. NEVER AGAIN!!! more
