Attentive staff 11/5/2008

I have eaten at the Rugby Grill (inside the townsend hotel). The staff there is very attentive, and friendly. The food and dessert menus are both excellent. They have a great wine list. It's a nice place to celebrate a special occassion. The dress is business casual. The cost is fairly high, which is generally expected in birmingham. more

This is a very relaxing place to go to if you want good scenery and a peaceful experience. The rooms are nice and the food is great . The Townsend Hotel is very inexpensive. I would recommend them to others. more

The Townsend Hotel is a wonderful place to go to if you want a relaxing time. The service was great and the room was excellent. It's centrally located and easy access to many local restaurants. I would recommend this hotel to others. more

If you want to treat yourself to a relaxing stay away from home, book a room at the Townsend Hotel. This has got to be the pemier hotel in the Metro Detroit area. When A-listers come to town, this is where they choose to stay. The service is impecible, and you will not experience luxury like this anywhere else. The pricing is obviously steep, but you have to expect that from a world class hotel such as this. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable at the same time. The front desk staff will stop at nothing to make sure that you have everything that you need. It is definetly worth the extra money to stay in such a luxurious hotel. A++++++ more

Townsend Hotel 11/26/2005

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It wasn't very big and was quiet during the night, which was nice. I enjoyed the fitness room. The staff here were great and knew what they were doing. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants and shopping. The service here was superb. The bathrobes were great. The beds were very comfortable. I wish the room was bigger though. more
