If Ruby River is Salt Lake City's best restaurant then this poll is null and void and should be discarded. While it may be an okay steakhouse, it is not remotely on par with the New Yorker or the Metropolitan, etc. more

Awsome steaks and ambiance 8/15/2002

First time visit. Went to the Jordan Commons location. Everything from the service to the surroundings were out of this world and into cowboy heaven, especially the food. After the T-bone we really enjoyed meeting General Manager Kim Mock. This guy looks like he's wrangled a few steers in his life. I wouldn't be surprised if he had a horse tied up in back. Well worth the time and the money. more

Ruby River has always been a favorite of mine - I was so excited when they opened Ruby River in Jordan Commons. Their quality food and wonderful service exceeds itself from what I've come to expect from the other Ruby River's. From their wonderful variety of sandwiches for lunch to their assortment of delicious steaks, ribs and chicken - I can't get enough!
