Rubin Myron DDS: Myron Rubin, DDS

Dr. Rubin has been my dentist since I was 6 years old. I worked there for 9 years. I've spoken with hygenists (most who were PT and worked for other dentist's at the same time) and they all told me Dr. Rubin was one of the best dentist's they've known. Meaning he's very knowledgeable in General Dentistry and has even worked in a dental lab while in dental school. He does many repairs himself that most dentists can't do and so has to send the work to an outside lab and the patient would have to come back in for perhaps multiple fittings. Sometimes he's a little rushed but usually because of an emergency we squeezed in. He doesn't make patients wait to make an appointment later in the week when they have an emergency and are in pain. more

I did not like my experience with this dentist. Their office staff was rude and unsympathetic. The doctor was rushed and cold. I was told that I needed several fillings, which actually turned out to be not true. The fillings that I did have done there were shoddy, at best. Of the three fillings, one of them was jarred loose a month later, and one wasn't completely filled in, causing more decay than was originally there. I strongly dislike dentists to begin with, but this was one of the worst experiences that I have ever had. I had another dentist redo my work for me, and have not had any problems since. (I was told that I needed 7 fillings... I actually only needed 4, if that, since I had 3 done there before I got a second opinion.) more
