Not to mention professional assistance and advice that everyone needs when they purchase toys of this nature regardless if you are a newbie or a hardcore competition type racer like myself. You will always need assistance. So, yes it may be true the the majority of the equipment is of a delicate nature and should not in any way be handled by small children (even if its at eye level). This place is one of the best in the Fort Worth, and HEB/ Mid City Area's These are not your Wal-Mart, or Toys R Us type (cheap) Radio Controlled Toys that when they brake (and they will break) you have no option but to throw them away. The owner is condescending and has no people skills. We have been shopping there for years and love the guys who work there. However, we will never shop there again. For a man who owns a toy store "Roy" sure has no tolerance for children playing with "hot wheel" type airplanes placed strategically at eye level to entice the children. Seeing how we have purchased nearly a dozen of the $3.00 wonders having 2 boys. I am quite frankly appalled by this man's business sense, he has never even uttered a simple "hello" after all these years. Also, the items at this store are also grossly inflated. The only reason we shopped there for so many years was to help out & stimulate our local business which has now come to a screeching halt. My husband is a pilot for American and will be telling all of of his numerous friends and acquaintances not to shop there. Try Mike's Hobby Store, Hobby Town, or on-line. Roy's specializes in RC planes and cars and has a very friendly atmosphere. The guys here will explain in minute detail why your engine doesn't work and what you need to do to make it run properly. Even though they provide toys for big boys, they are woman friendly too and like kids since the kids are the next generation of customers. more
