Look folks, This is the review for Royal Thai in Brentwood - not the one on 19th. If you haven't eaten Thai all over the place (or had it prepared by an actual Thai native), you may not know the difference between standard Thai stuff and Thai when it includes Kaffir limes, kha phrao, phrik khi nu, or other authentic Thai flavors. The Royal Thai in Brentwood does it all, and they do a stellar job - you can safely ignore the negative reviews herein as those who simply don't know what real Thai cooking is like, or who went to the store on 19th and had a bad experience. Check out the store in Brentwood - it's fabulous, it's the real deal, you can ask for other Thai things that aren't on the menu, and you can be assured that you're getting the real deal - just don't order some americanized thing like Pad Thai and expect an international epiphani. If you want to make sure you're getting something authentic, ask specifically for something authentic, and ask for the correct spice level.
Pros: Authentic Thai, properly prepared
Cons: Inconsistent performance across stores
