Using Royal Nursery is a MUST and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !\r My wife and I just completed a pool project at our home and needed some major landscaping work to be performed. \r We researched and visited a few local nursery’s and obtained some quotes from a few landscapers.\r \r Our decision making was made simple when we visited Royal Nursery and met Steve & Connie. \r This Nursery has it all (Plants , shrubs, trees, rocks, grass, mulch , pavers , irrigation) you name it. \r \r The staff took us for a tour of the entire nursery and visited our home to give us some recommendations and an onsite quote.\r \r We decided to go with Royal and we couldn’t be happier. The Plants ,shrubs, grass, that were planted are extremely healthy and look amazing after one month of growth. \r The river rock and mulch is high quality and made our property so look much better.\r The crew that came out our installation was extremely skilled and really paid attention to the details and our customer expectations. Over the past year or so I have used Royal at my house to install Palm Trees, Plants, Zoysia sod & Mulch, Brick Pavers to the Lanai & Patio in the back and to the Driveway, Porch & Walkway in the front. The work was done quickly & efficiently and everything looks beautiful.\r Everything was handled professionally from the preliminary appointments for estimates to the completion of the whole Project.\r I would have no problem at all in recommending Royal to anyone!! more

Highly recommend Royal Landscape Nursery. Stopped in the nursery and had no idea what I was looking for. The staff was very friendly and showed me around the entire nursery. They showed me options of what to use in the different locations of my yard. I actually showed them some pictures and they offered great ideas. I didnt have the money to have them install everything, but was very impressed witht their prices and quality of plants, so I bought them all from them and installed myself. They have given me much advice since then to keep everything healthy and beautiful. I will continue to use them for my future purchases for my landscape needs!! more

Magnificent job & Great Service. A shame to see such negative reviews, when I had such a pleasant experience!\r I had Irrigation, landscape and Brick Pavers at my new home in Windermere. Being A general contractor myself i had 5 other companies bid the work. It was Royals Knowlegde, honesty and word -of-mouth reputation that mad my selection easy! They exceeded my needs for quality, service and price. The Brick Pavers were installed by experienced installers who went to great lengths to ensure the drains and pavers were laid with liser like precision.\r The staff was all uniformed and had great attention to detail. They grew the majority of their own plants which allowed me very affordable pricing. Overall my expereince was A+\r I will continue to recommend and use them in the future. more

The only reason I went with this company is because they were located so close to me. Every time I have came here, the people in the office were so rude and impersonal. I came in, they completely ignored me, and a lady quickly gave me a quote while complaining about her co-workers. Then, I called to order my 8 pallets and asked for a time frame and the rude lady told me she could not predict whether the truck would get in an accident or not so she couldn't give me a time frame. Are you serious?? I have people coming to install the grass. Do they expect that we would just hang around all day? Then I tried calling again and the lady put me on hold without telling me. They are a joke. I am so annoyed with their customer service that I wanted to write a review. I will write another review about the quality of grass once it comes tomorrow, if the truck isn't in an accident of course -_- more

Kind of rude. My neighbors used them and loved them. I visited them to ask some questions and a woman abruptly handed me a price sheet and left. \r I called today to ask for a quote on a landscaping project. I was told they aren't taking new clients. \r I found another landscaper, I hope this rude company finds a way to stay in business. more

First off, dont purchase service from these people! We had hired them to install new plants in our yard and change out some of our sprinkler heads. This place does not stick with the initial time/date of install. It was pushed back a week, and then another day. Secondly, not everything was done. They did not take care of the sprinkler heads, therefore my new plants are not getting watered properly. Between my wife and myself, we have called them 4 times in the last week to get this taken care of. Nobody comes out. We keep getting b/s excuses. Steve in particular is an ass. He refused to take care of this issue, or close out my bill after subtracting off the irrigation work that was not done. I will be filing a BBB report on this company. I also am now forced to get another company out to my house to finish the job that Royal Landscape did not complete. more

I called the Gotha location asking if they had wild plumbago, the lady said they did. I drove by and ask the same lady some questions regarding plants (it's a nursery for heavens sake!!!) she could not answer anything, she had no idea what I was talking about and guess what: she said they did not had the wild plumbago I wanted even though I had called half an hour earlier! She even asked me; are you sure you called here? as if I was lying. Horrendous service!!! don't waste you money in this place. more

I recently visited the nursery on Hempel Ave in Gotha and was very pleased and surprised by their hospitality and knowledge. Not to mention all the great plants they had. They had everything I was looking for and even offered to special some certain things i was looking for. The staff was friendly and welcoming!! I even took a golf cart tour!!!! I have scheduled to have my landscaping done with them and I am looking forward to the outcome!!! more

This company is something doesnot care at all.\r I bought my sod from them as st augustine floratam and the installed st augustine classic. They told me after the fact. They all look the same, difference are one is darker green the other light green also floratam is a fast growe and classis is slow grower. immagine having 2 different type of sod in your front year. I give them credit that they admit that they screwed up however refuse to correct their mistake!!!!!!!!!!!\r donot trust them with your sod unless you can tell the different kind os st augustine sod floratam, classic, sappire etc.\r Just run run and run and hire someone else for you sod job.\r Run Run Run and donnot stop or look back to this company more

Failed to deliver service as promised. Every time I called I keep getting excuses/run around. The worked promised is overdue 2 weeks and counting and still can’t get an answer when it will be perform. more

We were treated rudely as if we were interupted their day! Sod was not delivered at the promised time.\r Office staff was (one of them) was rude and unapologetic. However, to be fair, two of the young ladies were quite empathic, but the one who appeared to be in charged treated us with contempt. Even when I ordered it, she wasnt very helpful, what was I thinking!!??\r Never again!!!! There is not a rating low enough! more

The actual work was first class. The communication was non existant. They just arrive. You have to have a lot of patience and be able to supervise their job yourself.\r They collect 1/2 the bill upfront but dont pay their suppliers. The suppliers hit you with a lien and Royal wont get a release of lien until you pay them. Bad news. You pay them but no guarantee they will pay their supplier and then you might have to pay twice. Hire a lawyer first before getting involved with Royal more

If there were negative stars to rate this company I would have used them. The ""Eh"" for 1 star is not enough to describe the atrocities of this company. I purchased nine pallets of St. Agustine sod from this company and so far have removed 6 pallets worth of it 3 months after purchase. The remaining 3 pallets I have left in place because they were planted in my back yard and a fence hides the what used to be sod but is now all weeds. After spending $300 on watering the sod and countless other expenses in yard preparation all ""new"" sod died. Royal Mulch rejects any responsibility for refund or replacement. I would not only recommend staying away from this company but run!!!! run as fast as you can away from them. more

Just don't - save yourself the heartache of having them come in and ruin your property and then refuse to rectify and not pay suppliers so they can lien you. They will lie to you and take no responsibility. They do it their way - talk out of both sides of their mouth - then deny what they told you yesterday. Rude and condescending. more

Purchased sod from them - it is full of weeds - they sent their guy out to inspect - he agreed needed sod replacement - all I get is the run around - they will not replace. Do not do business with them. Cons: worst service more
