apartments are old. coats and coats of paint on the walls.walls are paper thin.When the people upstairs walk around things on my walls shake and fall off. I can hear what the neighbours two units away are doing. It is over flowing with foreigners. and low income people who do not know how to practice good clean habits. They throw there trash in the streets. They pack 6-8 people in one apartment. Infested with vermin because of these dirty people. We have green mosquitoes in the winter and get eaten alive .the complex gets one water bill and then it it divided amongst the apartments SCAM! Heat and hot water are 'included' in the rent, but the heaters don't heat much. And the hot water is a joke. 1 minute of hot water from every 5 minutes of cold. The garage rental is expensive and they are old and the wood is rotting away. Getting the management to give a damn is like pulling teeth. I've been here a short time and can't wait to move! more

They have been stealing stuffs which used to be normally kept at the back door of my apartment like bikes, scooters. They come and honk the bike bells in day time disturbing others.My friend's GPS was stolen from the car near to maintainence office which is right under their nose. 2nd friends car was vandalized at 9.00pm they tried to steal it but car locks prevented a start so they broke into it and stole everything including kids clothings.burglaries and loitering in apartment complex is the added value with low income group moving in.The people who are moving in here lately are gangsters and just hoodlums. I heard that they closed down some nearby Projects and that the people that lived there have been sent over here and to nearby apartment complexes. kids play around your car and keep hitting car with basketballs and baseball leaving dents and this is not enough they keep running in the parking lots and you know what happens if you end up hitting them while parking or reversing your car. \r \r Water : Initially they say hot water is free. Now comes the surprise...its not ""hot water"" that is free but heating of that water is free. They mislead people into signing the lease.This management has become stingy and worst. The water bill is always more than 50 dollars and we are only two adults and 1 kid staying at home.No hot water - imagine you getting up early winter morning and wait for hot water for 1.5 hours but in vain and you have to go without bath. Yes it happens.\r \r Laundry Facility is worst. Most of the machines dont work at all and they open and close at the whims and fancyies of the management.\r \r There are raccoons living in our bedroom wall, which we hear every early morning crawling into the wall, banging into the wall, scratching and making noises and sounds, thus not letting me sleep.\r \r Pets - are allowed but plants are not. weird, right? People are not allowed to keep their kids bikes in the front or in the staircase. They tell you to keep it at the back so you get 1 surprise that your bike is stolen or you see other kids using your bike and they take it home. else they will keep honking the bell of your cycle. \r \r garbage/dumpster area is filthy\r Best of all - \r Management (manager) is rude, obnoxious and unprofessional. The management has become worst now-a-days. They(management) are just trying to save money at the renters expense. They shun their responsibility to save some money. I don't have words to explain the Management or rather I would not want to waste a minute talking about them.\r \r Parking- now comes another pain....Against 1190 approx. apartments, they have only 900Approx parking so welcome to this no parking apartments and if you park your car somewhere away from home be ready to get scrathches.\r \r THIS IS NOT ALL MY FRIENDS, THE LIST GOES ON!\r \r Welcome new renter!!! \r \r \r more

I have been here for 3 years and except for the 1st year where you do not know what to expect from apartment management, things are good. After that lets count the number of problems 1) Roaches 2) bedbugs 3) noise pollution(kids get together right outside your apartment and shout all day long inspite of the fact that there is a designated play area 4)not sufficient parking (try coming on weekends and park your car- impossible) 5)Safety - NOT at all (people get beaten up at their luandry rooms and cars get burnt outside your apartment. 6)Car safety - kids play around your car and keep hitting car with basketballs and baseball leaving dents and this is not enough they keep running in the parking lots and you know what happens if you end up hitting them while parking or reversing your car. 7)Heat problems - this year health inspector had to be called to get heat in the apartment. The problem persisted for 2 months. Imagine you in the apartment with minimum heat when temperatures keep dropping every hour and then you have to keep figting day and night to make them realize its not working. 8) Management - Thats is again the worst i ever saw - Manager is very rude. 9) Garages - people park right outside your garage without any parking spot (Unauthorized parking) and then when you call management they say call police and when you call police they tell you its private property so they cant do anything. 10) No time comittment - They tell you you will have carpet cleaning on Sunday and u r ready with moving furnitures to shutting down kitchen and you keep calling to check the time when you can expect and every time you hear ""After 9 am to before 5pm"" you keep sitting there like that and as expected they do not turn up. 11) No hot water - imagine you getting up early morning and wait for hot water for 1.5 hours but in vain and you have to go without bath. Yes it happens. 12)Construction - this is rediculous. You can hear the 1st floor people walking and flushing. You can also hear then snoaring at night. So you can imagine what it feels like when there is a kid in the 1st floor. Vice versa. This list goes on and on..so Please save yourself time and effort and forget about this apartment. more

I was living Royal Gardens for last few years, I think I should share some of the information which help all the poor fellow who are looking for the appartment here.\r \r 1. Very recently my next door neighbour had burglary. That was the starting, then here are few more burglery happend in few days. This place is not safe at all now. If you have family and love your life...please take my advice don't look at this community.\r \r 2. The property manager 'Sharyn' is very shrude and rough in behaviour. Probably I saw the worst property manager in my 11 years living in US.\r \r 3. The appartment buildings are almost 50 years old, more or less all appartment/buildings lot of issues ( water leakage, roaches, bed bugs etc etc).\r \r 4. Few times there was police raid and shoot out in open day light with drug dealer.\r \r 5. Finally the standard people living here are becoming worst... you know what I mean. \r \r If you really want appartment here look at the next door Aspen Court...brand new really nice. more

I am currently staying at Royal Gardens and wouldnt recommend it to home hunters. The management is really poor and they take there own sweet time to resolve your problems. Also laundry rooms are open from 8am-8pm....makes it difficult.\r But the maintanence of landscaping is good and they have lawns in each block. PROS: Spacious lawns in each block,children can play CONS: Management is poor and slow at respoding to your problems more
