A great place for the big blockbusters 3/31/2006

I love this theater - free parking, big screens, great sound, nice seats and icees! You have to validate your parking unless it is sunday or you get out after 7. They play the big hollywood movies mostly, which sometimes isn't so great because big hollywood movies are often just a bunch of sex, drugs, and ghetto violence. But I have seen a lot of good movies there too and I have a lot of very fond memories of going here! Beware that occasionally, if something is premiering or recently premiered there can be quite a line! more

Cool theater 8/9/2005

Roxy is a great theater located downtown. For parking you need to use the garage just behind it, but you don't have to pay if you get the ticket validated at the theater. The only drawback to this is that hiking through a parking garage alone at night might not be your thing, but it is well lit. The theaters have comfortable seats and the lobby has always been clean. The lines out front usually aren't long, although I have had to wait a little in the snack bar lines inside. All in all though, a great theater. more

Good location and movies 8/5/2005

I have not frequented the Roxy lately mostly because of the genre of movies that have come out recently. My speed is about maxed out at PG ratings so I haven't been much. I do enjoy the Roxy though compared the other Santa Rosa theater mostly because it has up to date seating. The roxy is usually kept very clean so you won't have to fear what is stuck to your shoe more than what you see on the screen. more

Wonderful. 7/25/2005

This theatre is a great place located in downtown Santa Rosa. The parking is free when you verify your movie ticket, and there are certain days when you don't need to verify a thing :). I usually go during the day since it's a little cheaper. The line has never been long, and it's very easy to find the theatre you're looking for. The food prices are a little on the high side, but their popcorn is worth it. Wonderful place to get perfect seats! more
