I was in Austin for SXSW,and wanted to eat ,but didn't want to astray to far from sixth.So decided to drive down sixth,and came across this pizzaria called rounders.So i decided to go in and see what it was all about.The service was very nice,didn't have to wait long at all,and the pizza was delicious!I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a true authenic New York Style pizza! Pros: great service, very inexpensive, nice and quiet more

A big dissapointment 7/13/2003

Rounders looks like such a cool place. I have driven buy it tons of times and decided to stop in. I went in the restaurant on a slow Sunday night. I was not greeted by anyone so I decided to find a table myself. Then I had to figure out how where to get a menu because nobody came to say hi. Finally a waitress came over and said, ""what do you want to drink."" Not a good first impression. The service here sucked! The pizza was good and so was the greek salad but I would definitely recommend TAKE-OUT. This place did nothing but put me in a bad mood. Just Like NY! 5/19/2003

I was recently visiting from Manhattan and a friend took me to a new pizza place in town. I was suprisingly impressed with how amazing the pizza was at Rounders. I also loved the digs and thought they had good service. If you want a real NY pizza experience, check out Rounders Pros: Inexpensive, Cool atmosphere, Cheap drinks more

the best NY pizza 4/10/2003

Finally a place that claims NY pizza and has NY pizza!!!! The pizza is awesome. It's large slices that you can fold! Coming from the Bronx its been hard to find good pizza here in Austin. Now I can have pizza!!!! I recommend this to everyone! Pros: big slices, good value for your $ more

A little NYC in Austin!! 3/10/2003

The pizza is incredible - finally, a slice of plain cheese pizza that doesn't need any toppings! And we got garlic knots to start with that were unbelieveable. All the ingredients are quality and the service was friendly and attentive. Can't wait to go back!! more

Fantastic! 2/22/2003

This is the best New York style pizza I've had in Austin. The sauce is delicious, the restaurant itself is much classier than you'd expect a pizza place to be, and the food is cheap! The people are friendly, too. more
