Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

We had called Roto-Rooter for our home. I have to say I was amazing at the organization of getting a repair man out to our home and he arrived when expected. Florin was our serviceman's name, he was very professional and knowledgeable on what our problem was. He explained everything he did and showed us what he found. If the need arises again, we will not hesitate to call Roto-Rooter again. We thank you for everything Florin did to solve our plumbing problem. We live in Kirkland, Washington. more

Roto-Rooter Plumbers 10/8/13\r \r Our home experienced a clogged drain in the kitchen and the wash tub drain in the basement.\r I called Rotor-Rooter, 35 Sunset St. Rochester, NY. at 4:00 p.m. I indicated our problem to the customer service rep. She told us that a service plumber would be to our home within the hour.\r She was very professional. The service plumber Mark, arrived within 30 minutes. We showed him our problem, and he gave us the estimate. We agreed to the costs and Mark proceeded to bring in his equipment. In less that an hour our drain was free. Mark checked the drain flow several times before completing the service. He also instructed us on how to better utilize our\r garbage disposal to prevent any future clogs. Roto-Rooter May 20, 2013\r \r My bathroom sink drain had been slow for all of the 23 years I lived in my home, but it just kept getting worse, despite all of the baking soda & vinegar, enzymes and chemicals I put down it to temporarily help it. I actually have rarely needed a plumber, so I did not know where to turn. I was hesitant at first to call Roto-Rooter, but the experience was a good one. I scheduled a Monday AM visit on a Sunday evening. The dispatcher called me about 40 minutes before the plumber arrived, and he arrived when the dispatcher said he would. I had the connection pipes off of my sink already, since I had tried to use a manual ""snake"" on it prior to that. It took the plumber about 20 minutes to do the work. Before he did the work, he told me that the charge would be $309 for routing a drain, and did I want to proceed. I said ""yes"" and told him that I had a coupon for $50, and he said that was fine. He explained to me how my pipes turned in my bathroom and the places where the sludge builds up. So, the whole thing cost me $259 ($283.61 with tax) and although it was not cheap, they did a good job and I am pleased with the results. My kitchen sink was clogged, I tried liquid plumber and plunger and didn't work. Called Southwest and he couldn't fix it, so I called Rotor Rooter, Max (#1854) came within 2 hours and he CLEARED the pipe in about 15 minutes, YAH! Job well done !! more

Roto-Rooter is AWESOME. We couldn?t use our shower and could barely use our toilet and we only have one bathroom! I called Roto-Rooter and they saved the day. We had same day service, during the hours I requested. Chad came in and was able to do his thing, we ran into a small problem, he called another tech in the area, Cesar and Chad tackled the issue. I called Roto-Rooter Plumbers of Seattle this morning at 7:30am and asked if I could schedule someone to come clear our shower drain. I was expecting the standard wait of at least 3 days and a window of 4 hours of waiting. A live person answered and told me she could have someone at our house with in the hour! It was so great to be able to have someone come right away. When the plumber, Giovanni arrived he was clean, friendly and very kind to my 4 year old who was very curious and wanted to know what he was doing. She got to watch and he told her everything he was doing. It was a very great experience as far as needing a plumber goes. more

I called Roto-Rooter Plumber in Seattle and Florin their service man was at my home with in a couple hours AND no charge for the initial evaluation...Our shower was not draining and we were finally tired of standing in dirty water! The problem was identified & resolved that visit...No extra charge for travel or same day service AND the 6 month guarantee & 50$ off coupon was a deal-maker for our family. My house drain was clogged from shower and garbage disposal. Florin did a great job and cleaned everything up after the work. He also gave me some drain maintenance tips that should help to avert another snaking. Rooter-rooter was easy to deal with and are 7X24 shop. They came out in an hour. Joe not only figured out that I had a slow drain, but he fixed the flapper in my toilet which was contributing to higher water bills. I have had a slow drain in my downstairs bathtub for over 6 years. I have used lots of Drano and even rented a drain snake, but I was never able to get the drain to clear. I decided to try Roto-Rooter. The Seattle Plumber spent some time trying to resolve the slow drain. He was about to give up when finally he was successful. At 11:00 AM a few days ago on October 20, 2011, while in the midst of a hectic day, everything went on hold when we surveyed a flood in our laundry room. After I cleaned up the mess, I discovered the cause was a backed-up sewage line.\r \r As I have done many times in the past, I called Roto-Rooter and asked if George was available. I was told that I could have the next plumber available and someone would come by within an hour. I said, no, I wanted George. When told that she didn?t have George?s schedule, I asked her to track him down. After being on hold for several minutes, I was relieved when she said George was indeed available and would be at my house within half an hour.\r \r When George arrived, I felt like I was seeing an old friend again. As I look back on my records with Roto-Rooter, I note George has cleaned out the roots and debris seven previous times at my house dating back to August 2001.\r \r As he came into the house and walked over to the clean-out that he knows ever so well, his first words were jokingly, ?Still didn?t put that clean-out outside the house where I have suggested in previous years.? I told George that I could rent his equipment at a tool rental shop or even I could have purchased his electric snake several times over, but then I would miss seeing him.\r \r He smiled and went straight to work. Minutes later he found the problem and came to me with a fistful of tree roots. He suggested that, because there were a lot of roots throughout the line, it was time to think about replacing the old sewer line with another line that could be installed without digging up my lawn. At his suggestion, I put on my calendar a note to call after the winter for an in-line inspection with Roto-Rooter?s remote television camera to identify the bad joints and broken sections of pipe in my 70-year-old sewer line. Once the problems are identified, I will ask Roto-Rooter to install a new line in the damaged sections.\r \r Once again, I was very pleased with George?s work, and he left with a smile.
