As a precaution I generally look at my sewer trap regularly. This morning 3/29/2015 I noticed it had filled with water. I could have called a cheap sewer service but decided to call Roto-Rooter since I had excellent results in the past. I immediately called and on a Sunday morning they had a guy out within 1 hour who confirmed the problem, and snaked my drain clear. I was also concerned that there might be an issue with my sewer trap but I was advised that it appears to be OK. While you may pay less with another service don't take a chance: I suggest you pay a bit more and get a first-rate job done unless you want to call that other service back out to redo the job. As the saying goes, penny-wise pound-foolish. As usual, Roto-Rooter did a 1st rate job. more

Plumbers came on time and show me the conditions of my pipes thru the camera. They were very detailed in explaining the process of how they will fix and correct the leakage that I have. They were also very helpful in speaking to my homeowners insurance company to start the process. Great work by roto rooter more

I woke up to find my sewer line leading out to the street totally clogged. It didn't matter the short notice; they got a plumbing tech out to the house in a few hours. He had control of the situation ..... knew what to check for and before leaving made sure no issues would return. So if anyone has any plumbing concerns; This is the company to call. ( keep up the good work roto-rooter ) more

I have used Roto-Rooter plumbers several times and have always been happy with the work. Yesterday, I discovered a leak in my pool heat exchange system. They were here within 45 minutes of my call and all of the work was done professionally and in a timely fashion. i would not hesitate calling them again if the need arises. more

I called Roto Rooter at 4:00 PM and a technician arrive at my home by 7:30 PM the same day. The technician, (Louie #1372) was polite, courteous and professional. Louie, told me it would cost 195 to snake the toilet. When we determined that did not help, Louie told me it would cost an additional $200 to remove the toilet from the floor. Turns out the toilet was clogged with a bracelet my 14 month year old son had thrown into the toilet. Louie, was able to remove the clog from underneath the toilet with a hanger. Louie completes the task within 1 1/2 hours. After parts and tax it cost $442.62. Even thought Roto Rooter service was excellent and Louie #1372 was great, the few people I talked thought I was overcharged and for the money I spent I could have had a new toilet installed. more

We had a frozen pipe in bedrooms on second floor. After calling two other plumbers who could not fix it, we found RotoRooter Plumbers in Farmingdale. Within a half hour they found the frozen pipe and we had heat! They showed up when they said they would, explained what they had to do very professional and courteous ! Would highly recommend them. I called Roto- Rooter because i had a leak in one of my boiler pipes. The technician Bill came within the hour. he accessed the pipe, replaced it and added a shut off valve. He was very polite, informative and professional. This is my second time using Roto-rooter and I have no complaints. more

Phenomenal work. Fast. Clean. No wasting time. The satisfaction of saving money before I used Roto Rooter was soon outlasted by the disappointment for being cheap. I should have called Roto Rooter sooner and save a lot more that way!!! more

They will able to come quickly and provide a FREE estimate before doing the work. I was very pleased with the work, and we would not hesitate to call them again. We had a clogged sewer. We called roto rooter and they arrived within an hour. Our first tech was Louie 1372 he was great. We needed a bigger machine so he called Nick 3410 who arrived in minutes. Our clog is all gone. \r Lindenhurst Ny 11757 more

After spending almost $700 with Ray the Plumber and still not having my drain issues resolved, It was recommended that I try Roto Rooter. I'm pleasantly surprised! Tom technician #252 (241 Central Ave, Farmingdale NY) did a thorough job, actually cleared the entire line and guaranteed his work for more than a week. Ray the Plumber just lost a customer for life. more

After having a brand new bathroom constructed, at 10 oclock on a Friday night, we had a massive flood in that new bathroom. Called the number for roto- rooter and got probably the best customer service I can recall. Unable to send a plumber out that night, there was a plumber at my door at 7:45 the next morning. Rich was wonderful, very thorough and kept me appraised of everything he was doing. Of course it was a complicated problem, but Rich definitely thought outside the box to fix the problem. Unfortunately that same night, the same thing happened again, and on Sunday morning Kenny came to help. Again- I cant say enough about the service and his expertise. THANK YOU for making a horrible situation bearable. I would recommend these people to anyone! more

We had a leak, needed a plumber, called Roto Rooter in Farmingdale long island and Josh (#348) came over quickly! He was able to find the problem and came back the next day to fix it! Josh was patient and kind to my three young children and took all safety precautions. He cleaned up the mess once finished. Hopefully we don't need a plumber very often but if we do we will call for Josh again!! more
