Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

We had a problem tonight with our plumbing. Whenever we used the water in any bathroom or the kitchen, the downstairs tub and sink would fill up with water. I called Roto-Rooter becasue they were the only thing I could think of. It was about 8:30 pm when I called. When I spoke to the woman on the phone I explained my problem and she told me someone would be there within an hour! I was completely shocked. I didn't expect that anyone would be able to get to us until at least the next morning. An hour later a Roto-Rooter plumber Bill from Oyster Bay NY showed up at our door. He explained everything he was going to do. He showed us what was happening and even showed us with the camera! Bill was professional and VERY knowledgable. My husband probably asked him about 80 questions and he gladly answered all of them (some didn't even have to deal with the problem but other plumbing questions he had). Overall the experience couldn't have been any better. I will definitely use Rot-Rooter again if I have another plumbing issue and I will DEFINITELY request Bill :) more

The snow storm was coming and the kitchen sink was out of commission. That is because the new garbage disposal was not yet installed. One call and Roto-Rooter arrived just before the storm. The plumber was efficient with his time and explained everything he was doing including the leak he found and repaired. Before leaving he also advised how to take proper care of the new disposal. He left with every thing clean and in excellant condition. Then the snow storm arrived but we did have a working new disposal in our kitchen. more

I have heard nightmare stories about other sewer and drain companies. I called roto rooter with an emergency at 6pm. I was told they were "backed up" until tomorrow. NO PUN intended! I explained to them everything was backing up in my house and that I have a condition that I need to use the bathroom often. They were here within 2 hours and the service guy let me know exactly what he was doing, he greeted my son and me with a smile, and even told me how to get a coupon in case it happens again.
