Steve came out and addressed a clog in our utility sink drain quickly and professionally. The job involved sawing some PVC pipe as well as sending a snake down the waste line. The cost was $480 and he was here for about an hour and a half. He was kind to also take a look at a toilet that wasn't working properly. He worked well around my two children, under age 3. more

These 2 plumbers from Tacoma Roto Rooter were great from the moment they stepped through my door. Smiles, easy-going, polite. I wanted the garbage disposal in my sink removed because I'm on a septic system, and because the pipes would plug up from only occasional use of the disposal, so my sink couldn't drain. - They cleaned the pipes, replaced a few pieces, and did it right, so that that whoever worked on it next would find it easier to work on. On finishing the job they explained that I could remove a large nut under the sink myself should the pipes clog under there in the future AWESOME! They also gave me some Roto Rooter Pipe Shield to help keep the pipes working smoothly. I was pleased with their work. more

We were having problems with our sewer backing up and thought there must be some roots causing a blockage. Steve the plumber and his trainee came out from his Tacoma location with his equipment including camera/video system and identified the problem areas. As anticipated roots had gotten in the line. With several sessions of the water jet and revideoing the system we were able to re-establish a smooth operating system and even discovered some items for future consideration. thank you, thank you again and again for steve being employed by you. this is the second time he has saved me from fates worse than you know what. this time it was a gas water heater that was making so many pops that i thought i was going to be blasted to the moon. steve arrived and assured me that things would be taken care of quickly and safely, and indeed it was. there are so many stories about people coming into homes that it is frightening sometimes but i felt very safe opening my home to steve. he installed the water heater and stayed until he was asssured that the water was hot and no air was inside the lines. yes, the price was stiff but only because it was a naturally costly job. i so appreciated the senior discount. your company and steve in particular will be my first choice always and i will pass along the information to anyone i hear that needs plumbing done. tacoma is not that far away and it was remarkable how soon everything was done. i thought it was very kind of steve to always call to let me know when he was on his way. such a gentleman. more

I called and made an appointment and was shocked that they were able to come out to my house within 2 hours! The friendly plumber came out and explained in detail what was wrong with my outside draining system. They were the only plumbing service that would come to my house for a free estimate! Every other plumber in Tacoma offered a free estimate but charge a ""Drive out fee"" of $50 or more! There was no catch with Roto-Rooter. He was able to take care of my system and it was a low price! Best plumber in Tacoma that you can find! Don't waste your time calling anybody else! more

March 21, 2011. When I called I was told that they could be there in 2 hours. This was nice because I would not have to spend my whole day waiting around. The plumber arrived about an hour and a half late, but I was called and notified well in advance, which was nice. He gave me an estimate and promised that he would not charge me to fix my kitchen sink, even if he worked on it all day, if he could not fix it!! Once he got to work he was in and out within about a half hour to forty five minutes. He was very courteous, as were the people that I spoke to on the phone, receptionist and dispatcher. He fixed my sink and guarenteed it for six months with a free repair if it clogged again within that time. I would definelty recommed these guys to anyone!!! I really appreciate the same day service and status updates when the job before mine ran a little longer than expected. more

On Monday, 3/7/11, the Roto-Rooter plumber from the Tacoma Roto-Rooter office came to our home and installed a new commode in our bathroom. He did a very good job. He was professional and very knowledgable of his work. He left our bathroom in good order and neat and clean. If we need any other plumbing work done in the future we will certainly call Roto-Rooter for him. more
