What a great experience working with Roto-Rooter. I started out calling another plumber that I've used for years by leaving a message on his answering machine. After 5 hours and no response from my old plumber I called Roto-Rooter. I know they're a trusted name and felt I would be in good hands. I wasn't wrong! Roto-Rooter Plumbers, 06/17/2011 - Contacted Roto-Rooter at 9 in the evening and they would have been out that night if it had been an emergency. They came to my place during the time they contacted me with. They were able to repair both toilets in my place. A minor rebuild and major rebuild. The work was completed in about an hour. Cost was competitive and I will definitely be contacting them for any/all future plumbing needs. more

Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Service on 01/06/2011. I called around 3:00 PM with a clogged kitchen drain. John 2723 was at my house in less than one hour, despite the heavy snow that was falling at the time. John 2723 was very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He removed his boots before entering my house, laid towels and mats around his work area and cleaned up when the job was done. John 2723 also had advice on what to do to prevent future clogs for every drain in the house. I would call Roto-Rooter again. more

Kitchen sink clogged after week of holiday cooking of potatoes, sweet potatoes and lots of other goodies. My brother-in-law tried to snake it but to no avail. After Roto Rooter confirmed that we had two sections of sewer line that were damaged due to tree roots, Steve (3116) came to do the repair. He used an epoxy pipe patch that hardens to 15 times the strength of the original pipe. I feel very confident that his work will last for many years. The technology that Roto-Rooter has far surpasses any other plumbing company. more

I called Roto Rooter to help with a shower drain that wasn't working. The night before my husband and I spent 4 hours trying to get the tub to drain. We poured chemicals down it, used a plungger, bailed water out with a bucket and even disassembled part of the drain with no results. Roto Rooter came the very next day when they promised and they even gave me a courtesy call to let me know they were on their way. My plumber Joe (#3219) was friendly, professional, and very neat. He let me know what all of my options were and answered all of my questions. He had my drain working in under 30 minutes. I would recommend Roto Rooter to anyone with plumbing problems. more

Bill Poe (811) did an extrordinary job servicing many areas in my house. My original call to Roto-Rooter was to address a leaking toilet and assist in the installation of a utility sink in our laundry room. Bill, my assigned plumber, was courteous, punctual, and very thorough in his work, carefully explaining all services along with their risks and costs. He took the time to show me the contrast between the parts that were originally installed in my house and the parts that he was using for the job. Roto-Rooter clearly uses high-end parts when servicing. The costs may be a bit higher than competitors but you get what you pay for and quality plumbing is something that you should definitely pay for! After finishing his first two jobs, Bill noticed that a valve was malfunctioning that supplied water to the outside of my house (garden hose). Apparently, it froze and cracked during the Winter. All it would have taken is a break in the outside valve or someone turning the outside nozzle on and my foundation would be drowning! Bill identified this risk and immediately resolved it, all during the same house call! He was well equipped with his ""hardware store on wheels"" and skilled to fix any problem that arose. He even gave me a few tips on remodeling to increase the value of my house. I also received a follow-up call a few days after my service just to see if everything was still ok. Of course, it was. If I have any other problems, I know where I'm going. Thanks, Bill! more

We had our gas shut off after the gas company found a very small leak in our pipes. Roto-Rooter came out super fast and we were able to have our gas turned back on the same day. The repairman also pointed out some issues in our pipes that might be problems in the future, which we appreciated so that we could take care of them before they become emergencies. Our toilet was leaking large amounts of water into the basement every time it was flushed. Jason from Roto Rooter came and replaced our toilet and other parts. He told us the problem was the floor had settled around our toilet and used spare parts of wood lying around our garage to build up the area. how creative! My renter was having problems with sewer back-up in the tub when she washed clothes. I called Roto Rooter and AJ came, snaked the drain by the washing machine and snaked the sink. He recommended that a camera was needed to see the blockage. He contacted his Supervisor Larry who came out and checked out the siutation with the camera. I could not get to my house that day because my car battery was dead, so AJ came out to me! What Service! I am still wating to have the problem completely resolved, but this is because I am waiting for the City to come and locate my Main Line Clean Out....I am still wating for them. Calling in a plumber is never an experiance one looks forward to, but I'm glad that Scott responded to our SOS. I called Roto-rooter at 7:30am and Scott arrived by 8:00. He determined that our main waste line was clogged outside the house and that there was no clean-out to access the line. Undeterred by the rain, Scott dug down to to the clay line, spending most of the time lying on his stomach to reach down into the hole. After popping an opening in the line, he was able to snake the drain clear. He then did a very professional job installing a clean-out, and refilling the excavation.
