Roto Rooter service was very professional and efficient. I contacted them and made an appointment on their website. They gave me a two hour window and called 30 minutes before they arrived. They were clean and well prepared for the job. Their price was less than I had paid for a services to do the same job last year. more

my basement was flooded today and i could not think of anyone (nothing came out from my mind first except for roto-rooter). i know about them through tv show ""undercover boss"". well i called the nearest office and there was a vey polite response at the other end of the line. She was courteous and took my information immediately after i told her my concerns. she told me that she'll send someone immediately to fix my problem. she said that it will take 30 minutes to 45 minutes for the plumber to be in my house. but it did not take too long for jack to come over and check my concern. Jack, the plumber, came and took a look at my sum pump. i think he is from the gurnee area or was it glenview illinois. he showed me and my wife what he would do and told us how much it would cost everything. what was nice about him was that he gave a good discount for the replacement and labor of the unit. after we told him the job plan was ok for us, he jump into the action and fix our unit without delay. he did a good job in fixing the whole thing. i was completely satisfied with the job he did. he said he want to do it right the first time and that exactly what he did. i am one of the satisfied customer again. thank you for the great service. by the way jack did offer some stuffs for the pipes. it think it was good but i have to buy it later since it was an unexpected expense we have today. for reference by the way i got this invoice number 25 16594444 for today's date March 09, 2012. more

From the start to the final good-bye all the people I spoke to were courteous, respectful and helpful. They worked on our ""unconventional"" problem and did not take advantage of our position. I give them an A+. more

I was having a mirrored backsplash installed in my kitchen. I was told to remove by faucet as it was too high. I watched a video from Lowes to learn how to do it myself as faucet changing is labled as an easy beginner DIY project. NOT SO MUCH! After working hard myself for an hour and a half, I called Roto-Rooter. With in an hour, Fred arrived. He took one look at my faucet and told me he wasn't even 100% he could change it. Two and a half hours later, my mirrored blacksplash was up and my faucet was working. Fred did wonderful work. And he is funny too. I would call Roto-Rooter again. more

Our kitchen sink and disposal began to back up the night before and still was doing the same in the morning the next day, even after a bottle of Draino. I could not find a plumber to stop by and do the work and was in a jam to get the work done so we could continue to clean our dishes (dishwasher is hooked up to the same drain line). When I called at 11:30 am, Roto Rooter was very prompt in informing me of a window of 1pm to 4pm that they could have someone out and planned to be home from work after 1pm. Right after lunch they called me back to say that a tech was freed up and could come right away so I took them up on it and was he was done rodding my drain before 1:45pm. Service Call Dates12/27 & 28/ 2009, 1/11/2010 I had sewer problem in my home. All the staff I had encountered & even the general manager were very professional, courteous, on time, & dependable. Roto-Rooter was awesome! Hubby had been working on the sink all morning when we decided to finally call Roto-Rooter. I was on the phone for only a few minutes and then they were able to send someone out right away. He was here in no time and had our kitchen sink unclogged right away.
