I live in Newark, DE and called Roto-Rooter for service and they were able to come out that same day. The lady I spoke to on the phone was very helpful and provided excellent customer service. I needed my sewer line unclogged because the water kept backing up in my basement floor drain. I had a different plumbing company come the prior day and they were unable to unclog it. They said I would have to get my yard dug up to get out whatever was clogging up the pipe which would have cost me 6K! Then I decided to call Roto-Rooter to see if they could do anything. They use similar machinery to snake the drain and was successfully able to clear out the stubborn clog. I was so glad the technician Harry knew exactly what to do and got the job done for under $400. I wish I had called Roto-Rooter in the first place to fix my problem and I would definitely recommend them. more

I live in West Chester, PA and I had Tim and Harry come to my house to repair my sewer line. They arrived on time and were very nice. I liked how they explained every single thing that they were doing to me. I really loved how they cleaned up after they were done. You would never guess they used a jack hammer in my house! I already recommended them to some of my family. Thanks again to Tim. He was such a good worker. He did an amazing job! more

My Plummer Tim came within an hour gave me a quote on my broken waterline under the sidewalk. I had my work done and completed within 2 to 3 hours of coming back to the house. The service was excellent! Tim and his coworkers were very pleasant and nice, not to mentioned very efficient as well. They were very professional and yes I would recommend him and root-rooter without a doubt! more

Roto-Rooter Plumber Robert from Newark, DE, on 11/14/13 arrived about an hour after i called for service, the person that answered phone ,was knowledgeable and pleasant, Robert was very knowledgeable , quickly resolved my slow drain in my shower, Robert was kind enough to fix the chain in my toilet i had changed my self - be held with a rusting metal paper fastner clip clamp, Robert even cleaned my entire tub! Very impressed with the quality of work provided , This service was excellent and exceeded my expectations as well !\r would definitly recommend Roto-Rooter Plumbing ! more

Robert came late in the evening and worked quickly to clear a very stubborn plugged drain. He was very professional and made sure we were satisfied with the work he had completed. Fantastic, friendly service 1/13/2012

We called Roto-Rooter of Newark, DE to unclog our sewer line. They dispatched a plumber who arrived faster than estimated. Harry snaked the sewer line in every direction, clearing out the problematic clog, and dealing with some roots that might have caused problems later. Harry was fast, friendly and professional. We hope never to need Roto Rooter again, but we will not hesitate to call them if necessary. more

We needed a plumber to assist with a problem under the kitchen sink after we discovered the vent pipe wasn't connected. Robert Boyle spent 3 hours on the Friday after Thanksgiving fixing the problem. I was delighted with the service I received. He was thorough, and explained everything in detail. He was very professional. This service was excellent and exceeded my expectations! more

Roto-Rooter Plumbers 7-31-11 8/1/2011

We were having problems with the kitchen sink, nothing would go down and water was leaking beneath the sink from the garbage disposal. We called on Sunday morning about 9AM spoke to a very nice operator, she was able to send a technician out between 10AM and 12 noon.\r At 11:40--The truck pulled into our driveway. Robert Boyle knocked on the door, introduced himself and listened to the problem. I thought the problem was with the garbage disposal and I had gone out to get a replacement. Robert thought the problem was with a blackage in the pipes after. He explained the process, and examined the pipes, he also told me the prices for the services if needed. He first took out my old disposal and installed the new one. He tried the unit--it worked fine but the problem persisted. He then went to work, clearing hte pipes.\r He was there about 2 hours, when completed everything was operating very well. He checked and re-checked his work. He told me where to find the discount coupon on the web site. Robert Boyle was very professional and pleasant to deal with. He was thorough and not rushed. He didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. i would certainly call him again to deal with our emergency problems. more

Great Service! 7/26/2011

We discovered a leak early on a Sunday morning. Called Roto Rooter, the cust svc guy was great and told me someone would be there in an hour. An hour later the plumber knocked on the door and began to work on the problem. He was professional, repaired the broken pipe quickly and looked at a few other things for me. I would highly recommend this company. more

technician dan. a very honest person 8/1/2009

After throwing away 99 dollars to horizon plumbing scam a month ago. they stated a needed a new sewer pipe that would cost me around 7000 dollars. So i spent the 99 to clear a blockage, little did i know that ""clearing"" doesn't mean cleaning. long story short, I called rotorooter to ""clean"" my sewer pipe. I paid a little over 400. But ""dan"" explained to me I did not need a new pipe. So basically I lost 99 dollars on a job done dishonestly. Roto-rooter and Dan were honest and worth it. Pros: fast service Cons: n/a more

Roto-Rooter is a business that I am very thankful was there when I needed them. I needed my drain snaked and they came out and got the job done fast and effectively. I highly recommend them. A little pricey, but worth the money. more
