Roto-Rooter Plumbers 3/24/2014- We have had some major problem with drains clogging and overflowing. Roto -rooter came out that day gave a free estimate and came back later that day to do the job. The tech was very nice and the service was great. Everything is working fine now. more

We had several inches of water in our basement, and suspected a problem with our main drain. The Roto-Rooter guy was prompt, and got right to work. He solved the problem in less than a half hour. He cleaned the drain and neatly took the roots that were clogging the drain with him. We were very impressed. more

Today, I found the right guy for the right job. No, I was not charged a fee to come out and assess my situation. I know I have roots growing in my downstairs comode. The comode is off the pipe and ready for the snake. The nicest guy, Lou M, was more then helpful and beleive me this was a stressor. I am not employed for far too long and expected the worst but instead when given a price that I could not afford, I was offered grace. Lou called the office and I was accomodated and cannot tell you how much I appreciated him , 1. For being willing. 2. Corporate being willing to give me the break I so mightily needed! A single women does not know what to do but brace herself for being taken advantage of. Has happened too many times with service situations for over 40 years! But....not today. I was heard, and offered a viable price and now, I am good to go and this bathroom is open for business! What a gosh darn huge relief. Thank You LOU M. You made this womens day. I called Roto-Rooters and the service person, ""Tongue,"" was there within 1.5 hours. He assuaged my fears. A little costly but I didn't feel as though I was being ripped off. He did a great job in a short period of time and the pipe is now clear from the house, under the sidewalk, to the street. 5 out of 5. more

We needed our main sewer line from the house to curb cleaned out. Called the Philadelphia Roto-Rooter plumbers. They scheduled us for the next day, April 9, 2013 (this wasn't an emergency) and arrived on time. The technician was very professional. Quite pleased with the service we received! more

Fast Service, very efficient and professional. They were very diligent on getting to the cause of the problem and not just resolving the symptoms. Using the right technology and tools, they were able to find a break in the pipe between my house and the municipal main, locating the exact area that needed to be fixed. more

Nobody likes a clogged toilet. Luckily we have two in our house, one was still functional. I lived with the ""problem potty"" for a month and then decided to go the professional route. The tech was professional, clean and very customer centered. He explained in detail his plans and carried them out as designed. Quoted prices were exact, absolutely accurate. We knew we had a major plumbing issue here in the Philadelphia suburbs, and called Roto-Rooter to get a camera view of the sewer line from our house to the street. Mark the plumber showed up on time, and was extremely professional. As expected, we needed a new line. The Roto-Rooter crew arrived on time the next day, and worked non-stop (during periods of very cold rain) to replace our line. They were extremely hard-working and professional. more

My day started out with just a clogged kitchen sink, so I called for some help. Scott from Roto-Rooter was out within an hour, turned out I needed more than a unclogged sink. Pipe in basement was corroded and would have caused a huge mess. He fixed the problem and checked to make sure everything was in tact before leaving. Courteous and professional. When our garbage disposal exploded onto our kitchen floor this morning and flooded...we called Roto Rooter. Although it took a bit longer than originally stated, for the professional to get here, the call center kept calling us to inform us of when he would arrive. That is much nicer than the ""Anywhere from 12-5"" statement. When the plumber got here, he identified the problem quickly and went to work. Explaining what the problem was and how to prevent it, as he worked...even my 5-year0old was intrigued! Great work, positive experience. more

This 5 start review is on the plumber sent out in the Philadelphia area. He was courteous, knowledgable, efficient, and thorough. What more could anyone ask for? BTW; he also arrived within one hour of placing my call to the company. WOW! That is quick service! Will I call them again? I hope I won more
