Oily food with random spices. Seems like their mantra is, add a lot of butter, cream, oil, and anything tastes good.\r \r Great for someone who doesn't know indian food well, to try something exotic. this food is offensive, only bettered by their mediocre service.\r \r Do yourself a favor - skip this place. more

Good a la carte; Bad buffet 7/22/2009

When I first ate food at this place, the food was great! It was a la carte and the food was very authentic, flavorful and nice. The next time, I tried their lunch buffet. It was extremely mediocre and people (guests) were not too hygienic when they handled it. I saw one person, eat a little of his plate as he was serving himself. Not that we can blame the restaurant for it. But again, I would re-emphasize that their a la carte is great and I am a huge fan of their spinach naan (the best you can get in Seattle). Pros: Ambience, a la carte food Cons: Buffet, Service, Parking more

Great Place for the Family or Couples! 6/7/2008

I have taken my family to Roti several times. I have recommended Roti to friends too. The decor is great and the food is wonderful. We drive over an hour to eat here. The atmosphere is spectacular and the service is above par. The naan is great to us and the mango dishes are mouth watering. I have nothing but great things to say about Roti. If you want good Indian food, Roti is the place to go. more

Mouth-Watering Food 4/17/2008

I've been here dozens of times, and I must say that this is THE BEST indian food I've ever had, hands down. I usually always get the chicken tikka masala, saag paneer, paneer chilli, fish pakora, samosas, and finally the mango lassi. Also the buffet comes with GREAT selection, all to die for. I always leave Roti Indian Cuisine stuffed and happy, leaving the best taste in my mouth. It is deff worth a try, leaving you to become a daily costumer (speaking from experience!) more

Really not good! 4/17/2008

Serve was fine, I was seated promptly, but no one asked if I had ever been there before. I had to ask about the buffet. The naan was rubber the other dishes were all over cooked. I kept trying things hoping I would like something; I did like the mango pudding. If you want really good naan, serves and outstanding food go to Naan-n-Curry in Renton, it is truly amazing! Pros: on Queen Anne Cons: bad food more

Roti has a super buffet! 4/9/2008

My husband and I were so happy to finally find good Indian food in Seattle.\r Coming from Vancouver, B.C. we know what it should taste like. \r Roti had a very good buffet selection and the food was fresh. Service was efficient and polite and the prices were very reasonable. Additionally the decor, music and lighting provided a very nice ambience. Pros: Food, Ambience Cons: Parking more

Good buffet lunch 3/22/2008

$8.50 with tax for nice Indian spread at lunch. I like mine with more heat but the food was yummy. I always order the same when going to Indian so the buffet gave chance to try other dishes. The buffet had tandoori chicken, chicken tikka masala and some ground chicken with peas dish plus four or five vegetarian options then rice and naan. Also a little salad/dessert bar but didn't try that. My friend thought the chicken pieces were a little big in the Tikka Masala but the chicken was very tender and not at all fatty or junk meat. You could really taste the flavor. Naan was pretty good for cooking in big batches and keeping under a heat lamp. I still love fresh out of the oven naan the best!\r \r We got there at 12:30 and hardly a seat to spare! The waiter kept the tables clean and a bonus - left a pitcher of water on each table! This was great since my complaint almost anywhere is water glasses aren't kept full. The decor was cool, looked like something from Vegas. Will go back, my husband would enjoy. Pros: good food & service Cons: Street parking more

My Favorite Indian Restaurant 12/31/2007

I continue to bring my friends and tell them to eat here, and my friends have never been disapointed. The owners, Mr. and Mrs. Kohli are very nice and personal. I always feel welcomed. I just found out they are posibly opening another location in Bellevue! This is awesome news since I live on the East side. I feel like the lady from the Mervynn's comercial - ""OPEN, OPEN, OPEN"". Roti also has the tastiest Indian rice I have had. Thank you for the great food Roti! I will be back again! Pros: The new wall hangings added to the ambience even more! Nice touch! more

Best and Most authentic Indian food 12/19/2007

This place servers the best North Indian food in Seattle. Infact it is one of the best Indian Restuarants in the USA. Being an Indian I can say that it is authnetic Indian food. Feels like I am eating back home. Highly recommended for anyone who likes or wants to try Indian food. Kababs are great and so is Chicken Tikka Masala :) Pros: Great and Authentic Indian food, Nice Ambience, Great service more

Excellent Indian Food! 11/30/2007

My wife and I split the saag and tikka masala. The naan was the best we have ever had (we have eaten at many Indian restaurants around the country) and the dishes were full of flavor. Also, the decor accentuates the food, making the entire dining experience completely delightful. We will definately be returning to this restaurant and city in the future. Pros: The food and ambience were superb Cons: Parking was a little difficult. more
