Quiet, cozy restaurant 7/22/2007

Let's face - lots of restaurants in the area have good food. My problem with many of them is that they're noisy, making it hard to relax and carry on a conversation. Rossini's is quiet and intimate, with an option to dine outside in nice weather. Veal and chicken parmesan are excellent. Rosemary chicken is also very good. The caeser salad is outstanding. wonderful family run restaurant 5/6/2007

We have eaten there many times and have always had delicious meals. The pizza is wonderful as are both eggplant meals on the menu. The pizza is not greasy and has wonderful crust. The veal dishes are superb. Our favorite is veal marsala. We loved the fact that the owners are there all the time and available if there is a problem. It is a very homey style restaurant. Best pizza around town 5/6/2007

Wow! This restaurant has the best idea - half cheesy bread, half pizza for a reasonable price. The staff is very friendly and the decor of the restaurant is so adorable! My husband loved the veal piccata and our kids loved their spaghetti with meatballs. We will definitely be back soon. more

Horrible food 4/25/2007

the pizza we ordered was barely warm and VERY greasy. the appetizer (calamari) we ordered was also very greasy and tasted more like oil than squid. the waitress was new and not familiar with the menu so she had to go back a couple of times before completing our order. I ordered a salad which was brought out after I had put my napkin on my plate (indicating I was done with eating). she hesitated to take the salad of the bill but after she spoke to the manager she did end up not putting on the bill. we will not return to this business. more

Small personal restaurant 4/16/2007

This is a small establishment with checkerboard table cloth and maybe around fifteen 2 to 4 top tables. The decor is simple with a Tuscan feel. They don?t have a liquor license yet, so there is no bar. We were a bit apprehensive when we walked in, but our experience was actually quite good. Pros: Food, Veil Parmesan Cons: No Alcohol more

Best Italian Take-Out/Delivery Anywhere 4/8/2007

Dining in or carrying-out, the food is top notch. There need to be more high-quality, fast, efficient Italian restaurants like Rossini's...maybe they'll open more locations! If you haven't tried their baked bread, Spiedini, or Canelloni, you're missing out. If you haven't been there, GO. If you've been there, GO BACK! I've sent many friends and family to Rossini's and all have walked away very satisfied. Pros: Great variety, great quality Cons: Need one closer to my neighborhood! more

Cozy, charming atmosphere, friendly wait staff. Good food. Been there several times and loved the whitefish and chicken parmagian. Desserts were excellent. Prices were reasonable. Plan to go back frequently! Pros: Food is good, atmosphere charming, friendly staff. Cons: No wine yet. more

Great food at a resonable price! 4/6/2007

The restaurant was warm and cozy and the atmosphere was wonderful. The calamari was excellent! For the main course I had veal...the portion was generous and the meat very tender. The owner stopped by our table to inquire about our meal and welcomed us to the restaurant. Can't wait to return with more of my friends! Pros: Service was very fast more

Best Italian Food in Town 4/5/2007

Great customer service. Great food. I especially like the veal marsala. The veal is tender and good, the sauce is tasty and it comes with plenty of mushrooms. I'd be shocked if you don't like it too. Even better, they've got Rays Icecream for desert. I'm going back soon. more

Reasonable prices, friendly atmosphere and great food make Rossini's one of West Bloomfield's hidden gems! I was greeted by one of the owners as soon as I walked in the door. He was friendly and happy to tell me about their menu, order ahead options and that they deliver. I was also pleased that when I inquired, I was told that ""of course we offer a smaller (luncheon) portion--just ask!"" The cheese ravioli was flavorful, and there was no skimping out on the cheese. I've already made a lunch date with a co-worker to introduce her to Rossini's next week! Pros: Casual dining and great service more

Excellent Customer Service and great food 4/5/2007

Best pizza around town! Cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. Homemade desserts are out of this world, especially the peanut butter pie and the tiramsu! I love the fact that you can order online and specify what time to pick up your carryout. I will definitely use the delivery option soon. The dining room is so cute! I feel like I am at home - especially with all of their family photos on the wall. I have recommended this restaurant to many people who all have enjoyed it. Their are so many options for my friends who are vegetarian - they love the eggplant and calzones. I personally love the veal piccata and the tuscan salad. Pros: Adorable dining room, great customer service, delivery Cons: limited seating (only around 60) more

best Italian food in the area! 4/5/2007

I love the checkered table clothes and the warm ambience. Although it is located in a strip mall, as soon as you enter the restaurant you know you are in the right place. Don't miss the apetizer specialty... large enough to share. I've eaten here 3 times and each time find something new to order. Food is fabulous! There is lots to select if you are vegetarian or a carnivore. Owner is welcoming and attentive. All of the meals are made-to-order, so you know they are fresh. more
