There was a squamous cell area on my shin of my leg, and I had been told that it was a very difficult area to heal with. They usually do Mohs Surgery. A friend recommended this office, and I was seen within days, and I just could not have been more pleased. The first treatment was like a biopsy and he also, I guess, cauterized the area. I felt nothing not even the injection. I came back, and it was a positive result, squamous cell, but rather than doing the Mohs, his professional opinion was just to kind of broaden the area, cauterizing it, and I felt nothing. It was just painless, and it's not going to be a huge, humongous wound that won't heal. Anyway, I just couldn't be more pleased. The whole office was just lovely. I mean they just could not be more professional or nicer. It's a very pleasant experience. I just was pleased, so pleased to get it done in a timely manner and to have the procedure done that was so minimally invasive. more

It was a Facelift, July 1st that I had. My mother had had a Facelift with him and she looked fabulous and I had done a Laser Resurfacing 10 years ago with him. It was great. They were very informative. They answered all my questions. It was much different than I thought it was going to be. There was really no pain and very little bruising and the swelling was minimal. The results were pretty much immediate. I'm very satisfied. They definitely met my expectations. My jaw was beginning to set, so that was definitely put back in place, and I look great. Actually, it was not very noticeable to most people but it was very noticeable to me, and that's exactly what I wanted. I just want it to look better. I didn't want to look completely different. He is very caring. He answers your questions. I think you're in very good hands. more

Dr. Clevens removed a basal cell from my nose and the procedure was done three weeks ago. Dr. Clevens and Bryan, and they discussed the procedure with me and what it would entail, then I was pleased and I made an appointment and came back, and I had it removed. From the very beginning until the end, everything has been very professional, very first class. Everyone was very concerned. I felt very well cared for. They would call and checkup. So, they are very client-sensitive and extremely thorough in all that they do. It went well. Any question that I had, they took very seriously and they always followed up on it and got an answer for me. My nose is healing and just today I learned that I can start massaging the site of the incision, so I expect even greater results now that I'm allowed to do that. I've done the peroxide and the Vaseline on my nose. I would say I'm still in the recovery stage but each day I saw that my incision line was fading and getting less noticeable. I would highly recommend him. His staff is friendly, attentive, caring. He is everything you would want in a doctor. I just can't say enough nice things about them, and they just recently moved into a new office, and I feel like I'm walking into luxury. more

I recently had a procedure done with one of Dr. Clevens’ assistants, Lori\r Oswald. I had Sculptra two weeks ago. I was referred to Dr. Clevens’ office\r and my first visit was great. It was informative, relaxing and comfortable. \r The procedure was fine. They iced my face. It enhanced my cheeks. I love it. \r more

About two months ago I had melanoma on my nose and I had Mohs procedure to take it off. As far as I’m concerned, everything has been absolutely fantastic. Dr. Clevens was precise and very proficient. He assured me and talked to me about how things are going to happen, and he’s a real nice man. His nurse, Mary, knows exactly what she’s doing and she makes you feel at ease. My experience overall has totally been great with Dr. Clevens and what he’s done. If anybody says they’ve got skin cancer, Dr. Clevens is the only one to go to. more

I had a complete Facial Laser in 1997. Back then, there were only maybe two other plastic surgeons in the area. Dr. Clevens was highly recommended for the laser surgery. He gave a full explanation of the procedure, and after I had the laser surgery, he came by my house to make sure everything was in good shape. He checked on me. He was just absolutely wonderful. \r \r more

I had Mohs surgery with Dr. Clevens, and the care and attitude that everyone had towards it was really appreciated. They called me as soon as they had the results and got me scheduled as soon as they could. Dr. Clevens was very attentive and always called to make sure that I was doing OK. I was under the impression that everyone there was happy and helpful. Everybody listens to what your goal is and tries to give you the best result. more

I have been very happy with Dr. Clevens and his staff. He is conscientious of his work and has a good personality. He explains things to you and is very pleasant. The office staff are all so nice. I?ve been taken care of and I look 100% better. If I had to do it over again, I would. more

I'm in my 8th week of a full facelift and eyelid surgery and no one can believe how wonderful I look. Even my hair dresser and eye doctors say they've seen a lot of 'ugly' results, but Dr. Clevens always has good results and the only one they would go to. They promised me he'd take 10 years off, and I think it's more like 20. I don't look or FEEL 60 any more! The procedure did end up being a lot more traumatic than I had anticipated, but I may not have asked the right questions. The office staff and nurses are wonderful and took fantastic care of me. If you are considering any facial surgery don't even consider anyone else ! more

not as great as some report him to be, perhaps because his business is growing and it is difficult to get an appt with him. i had neck done without any good results. I advised with two other surgeons in the area and they believe he used the wrong technique with me. so, I am out ALOT of money and surgeon says he will not redo it. he will let me continue to get free laser treatments that hurt yet show no results. he says 'give it time'. my position is, when you spend money for PS, the results should soon follow....not waiting 1 1/2 years and wasting time and energy to get the results you were told in the first place more

My family and I have been a patient of Dr Clevens for almost ten years now. We have watched his practice grow and expand because he is so good. My husband was first a skin cancer patient of his. When our grandson was bitten by a dog, Dr Clevens was there for him in the ER without hesitation. A couple of years ago he performed a facelift on me; he did a terrific job, making me look as as young as I feel in such a natural way. It is almost amusing the people complain about the wait. The wait is sometimes long because he is so good and in such demand. Would you rather eat in an empty restaurant or a busy one that is in great demand. Dr. Clevens is the best in town and the best around as far as my family and I are concerned! more

I had a great experience at my consultation. Dr. Clevens has a new office that is really beautiful. I have to admit finding the front door was difficult. I enjoyed having my before and after video imaging done the most! It was so exciting to see what i will most likely look life after my surgery. I also was pleased that Dr. Clevens accepts Care Credit, i just wish he wasnt so busy...I have to wait until June for my procedure. BUT, for my face, I wouldnt go to anyone else...so it is worth the wait. Pros: Friendly, Informative Staff. Fantastic Before/After Photos. Cons: I could'nt get my surgery as soon as I wanted more

Based on the pictures that I saw in his portfolio Dr. Clevens is at the top of his game. His front office staff could stand to be alot friendlier, however. I waited forever for my consultation only to find out that the receptionist had never bothered to tell anyone that I was waiting. I seemed to me that my business wasn't really needed. In these hard times I would think that my business would be more important. I will likely go to Dr. Clevens for any serious work that I get done this year despite the chilly office environment.
