Roskopf's Service & Towing

Horrible service and crooks at minimum!!!! Had to have towed out of ditch cause cops couldn't wait for my towing company and then i wanted it towed to my shop but was told it they only tow to their facilities. Then that same day i wanted my towing company to pick it up but was told no one is in the office so i have to pick it up tomorrow. So next day I find out im charged 2 days storage for keeping it over night then still having it the next day when i was told i could pick it up plus a $300 tow bill to tow it less then 2 miles to where they stored it. They are straight up crooks and then price gouging because I didn't want to use their service. Never use them and recommend the ones that do to terminate all service with the company!!!!!! more

I just wanted to pass along that I had a great experience with Roskopf's a few weeks ago. My car ended up getting stuck on the south side of Menomonee Falls and the tower came and got me out. The response time was good and I didn't have to wait to long for their guy to show up. It's nice to have a local business like these guys be there when you are in need. The price was reasonable and the tower was professional and courteous. Given my experiences in the past with other towers, it is good to know companies like this still exist and are trustworthy. After hitting what I call black ice, I had to call a tow truck to help get my car out of the ditch. A friend suggested I call Roskopf's for help and I took the advice. I am really glad I did. The driver was on site within a few minutes and had me out in no time. Luckily I didn't do any major damage to my car and I was able to drive home. \r \r I do want to thank them and their driver for helping me out. I truly appreciate the quick service and reasonable charge for getting my car unstuck. I highly reccomend Roskopf's to anyone looking for quality service at a good price. Pros: Fast service, good price, courteous employees Cons: None that I can think of! more

My wife's car quit on the side of the road on a snowy evening. She called for a tow and Roskopf's suggested calling the sheriff to see if it had to be towed that night or if it was ok where it sat. Great idea we thought. Well, we called the sheriff and upon investigating they said it indeed need to be towed. The sheriff called our normal mechanic who did not answer so they called Roskopf's to tow it. We asked that it be towed to our mechanic but we were told that Roskopf's where only towing to their facility. OK, if that was the case we felt there wasn't much we could do. We stopped by the next morning to pay for the tow and make arrangements to tow it to our mechanic. We were told that it was a $65 service call that night plus a $35 after hours charge p;us mileage - that was fine sounded very much in line with the service provided. But then came the kickers. There was a $50 ""storage"" fee and another $65 towing fee for the tow to our mechanic (plus the mileage which was expected). Our vehicle sat on their flat bed all night and they never had to do a thing with it except drive the flatbed over to our mechanic and drop it off! All of which would have been avoided if they had taken it there in the first place the night before. And they do towing for this garage on a fairly regular basis anyway, so it wasn't like it was someone they didn't know.\r \r When I called to discuss my concerns over the billing, I received a conflicting story. At one point the guy told me they weren't doing any ""private"" towing that night so they would not tow it to our mechanic, but later he told me that they were never told about towing it any where else. (At this point it was the sheriff department talking to them, not us.) The gentleman I was discussing this with offered nothing to me but did try to relate it to his problems getting in to see his dentist - I don't care about your dental problems! \r \r I hope to not need a tow anytime soon, but if I do I will try to avoid using them again more
