Rosenberg Orthodontics

My two daughters have had braces at Rosenberg orthodontics for about a year. I liked that they let me do a payment plan instead of requiring a big down payment like the first orthodontist we saw and they took care of my insurance filing for me. The two doctors my girls see are always very nice, and the staff is always great about getting us in if they have an emergincy or miss an appointment. They have video games for the kids which is great because i usually have my young son with us and it keeps him busy while we wait for his sisters. I would recomend them. Also, there is a girl who works there who speaks spanish which is nice because my husbands english is not so good. Pros: Nice staff, state of the art office more

Dr. Rosenberg has a clean office. His work is fine. His staff are, for the most part, respectable. Until we got behind in our payments, and the nightmare began.\r \r Here is proof; a list of 173 people in our community who have been sued in Connecticut court by Barry Rosenberg.\r \r 65.60.4.242/barry_rosenberg_orthodontics.html\r \r Our story is like, I would imagine, many of the 172 others on this list. The work this doctor does is fine (but then again, so are any of the others in Farmington Valley) but if you begin having financial difficulties, he WILL take you to small claims court, he WILL get every penny from you, and he WILL ruin your credit rating for the next 10 years in the process. \r \r Many people on this list owed Rosenberg barely a hundred dollars. This is a despicable way to treat your patients and members of your community, and it has to stop. My daughter went to Dr. Rosenbergs office for her braces. her mouth needed A LOT of work!! She needed an expander to widen her palate and then braces. We were in treatment for 2 years (seemed like forever to my daughter) and now her smile is gorgeous! She can't walk by a mirror without stopping and smiling! Everywhere we go people are complimenting her teeth~ I was so impressed with her treatment, that I signed up for Invisalign for myself!! I can't wait to see the results!! Every doctor in that practice is patient, knowledgable and professional! The staff is the friendliest i have ever encountered in any doctors office - always smiling and very helpful!!! The video games are awesome! Keeps the kids busy so the parents can relax in the waiting area! Their Newington office is spectacular! From the plasmas on the wall to the coffee station... top notch! I will recommend them again and again to my friends and family! Pros: Always had an available appt for emergencies! Video games were awesome! Cons: I don't have more kids to bring for treatment!! I'm going to miss them! more

we were referred by our insurance to this group, and things started out all right, but progressively I realized that things were wrong with my 11 year old son's braces. I had to go back many, many times. My son was in so much pain he was crying himself to sleep each night. When I called the office the office personnel were quite rude - it seemed to me that since they already had my money, my son was just a nuisance to them. Finally after about 6 or 7 tries (good thing I live in Canton near their office!) Rosenberg did get it right, but I would NEVER ever go back to this gorup. My daughter might need braces in a few years and I would not take here to Rosenberg if they offered their services for free, after my experience with my son and how he was treated there.\r \r This doctor is also one of the most expensive in Farmington Valley. Pros: not many - location maybe? Cons: everything I doctor should be, rosenberg is not. Not worth any price more
