DO NOT RECOMMEND. They called me on the day of my move and told me they had been trying to get ahold of me for 2 weeks and they could not move me. I had given the point of contact 2 phone numbers, and I never received a phone call advising that they would not show up. I was lucky another company could help me with just a few hours notice. more

Before using Rose Piano and Moving I did my research and to my knowledge, they really got a bad wrap...but after talking to management and comparing prices I felt reassured and decided to take my chances...The morning of the move I was contacted by management to confirm our arrangement as well as to notify me of their arrival time which was exactly as scheduled. The movers were punctual and well dressed, in uniform. The job was quick and efficient and the price was better than decent. After quoting more movers than I can even count, I finally called Rose back and they matched my lowest quote which was only $10 lower than what they were offering anyway. So all in all I was very pleased with my experience with Rose and already recommend them to all my friends and family! more

I called and got a quote to move my piano for $120 - made appointment for 9 am. On the day of the move no one showed so at 9:30 I called the ""direct line"" I was given but no one answered and the voice mail box was full. Someone called back about 15 minutes later (based on their called ID list) and I was told they had no record of the appt. I told them I wasn't interested in them moving my piano. About 5 minutes later, they called back again and apologized and told me the truck was in route to my house. About 5 minutes after that, they called back and said they had gone to the wrong delivery first and would be here at 11 am. They showed up at 11 (2 hrs late) and told me the price would be $325. I told them the quoted price was $120 and I was not interested. They would not honor the quoted price. To be extra nice they threw their trash on my lawn as they left. Be forewarned!!! I am the granddaughter of the original owner of Rose Piano & Moving Company. The business name was sold November 30, 1990 and no members of the Rose family have been involved in any manner with the business since that time. Advertising would lead you to believe the current owners are associated to the original Rose family. They are not. Their business practices are far below the standards set by the original Rose family. Please use caution and be informed when using this moving company. more

I have hired them to move my furniture and on the move day they kept rescheduling (which can happen sometimes) but at the end they never showed up or called back. Very unprofessional and unreliable company, save yourself from stress and disappointment. more
