Flea Market 2/3/2010

An $8 entrance fee unlocks the best treasures Los Angeles has to offer every second Sunday of the month. Looking for one of a kind sunglasses? Check out Andre in the vintage section - he's my glasses guru. Need a new retro coffee table? There are dozens of sellers waiting to make a deal with you. Just remember to bring cash, wear comfortable shoes and just relax and enjoy yourself! How can you not... you're shopping! more

Vintage and Antique galore! 10/13/2009

I think you have to have something in mind if you want to go here, or else you'll just be bombarded with millions of trinket and everything will start to look the same (like all flee markets). Get place to find antique furniture and memorabilia. more

Neat Antiques But WAY Overpriced! 7/25/2008

This is a great venue, has tons of antique and vintage items. However, it costs a fortune, 20.00 or 30.00 to get in early, and it is WAY overpriced. Antiques shops are cheaper! This venue has grown in popularity and the prices have soared along with it. Do not waste your time if you are looking for antiques to resell. Pros: Huge Variety Cons: Horrible HIGH prices, antiques shops are less! more

Go with a purpose 11/15/2007

There are so many vendors at this monthly event that I highly recommend you go with a purpose. Have a general idea of what you're looking for and zone in on those items. If you don't you'll be walking around for hours thinking to yourself...ooh, that looks cool...and aaahh, that would work. You could easily be inundated with too much input and walk away with nothing in your hands at the end of the day. Of course, if you just like to look...this is the ultimate window shopping experience. more

Excellent variety 2/14/2007

There was so much to see at this flea market in what seemed like so little time! There was an abundance of friendly vendors willing to negotiate prices and good finds throughout the whole lot. I got some great stuff for my new apartment even though I'd planned to restrict myself to ""just browsing."" more

GREAT! 8/13/2006

This flea market was fantastic! They had amazing stuff & all of the vendors were pretty willing to come down on prices! I got some great home decorating pieces and furniture...all for incredibly reasonable prices! It is huge though. I arrived around noon and stayed until closing & I don't think I saw more than 1/3 of it!! more

Great afternoon walk 3/23/2005

The Rose Bowl Flea market is short on bargins unless you get there a 00-Dark-thirty when it opens. Then you are competing with the antique dealers. It is a good place to find unusual items, people watch and of course stock up on pickles and beef jerky (a swap meet staple). The cover charge to get in is a bit steep, you need to pay for parking and most vendors prefer cash so come prepared. It gets hot in the summer so bring your sun block. more

Great cause too! 6/30/2003

Not only is the food gonna be excellent, the sounds hot and the rides great but also, the proceeds of the donations for the sale of those cool 3-D glasses to watch the fireworks with go to the Ronald McDonald House. The Foresters are matching upto $10,000 of donations.God Bless America!! more

Fireworks not 9/14/2002

I have heard that this is the best place to come to see the 4th of july fireworks so i head off with some happy childish delight...Only to find that its really hard to get into this place and so very crowded! The only good thing that happend out of getting stuck in aimless traffic and stupid people was a great big panada bear(a costume ofcourse)that hugged my friend! If your coming out here next year for the show leave hours in advance and just park on the street. The locals throwing a party prolly wont even notice that you werent invited! Other then that man what a zoo! Oh and yes its huge more

too big, not worth it 6/3/2002

This venue is too big. It's out side which means if you go to a concert rain or shine..you could be drenched if it rains. The only good seats are right in front of the stage if you are there for a concert. Good luck with this place...you gotta be willing to pay the money for good seats. more

Work Out Junkie Haven 6/2/2002

If you can't make it to the beach, the early am recreational crowd is great. Workout junkies walk, jog, rollerblade and bike around the stadium & Rose Bowl Golf Course. It's not exactly the best view in the world, but it's safe (the cars actually stay 3 to 4 feet away from the bikers & joggers) and most people are really friendly. I never go here on the weekends tho--between the flea market and all the other events, it's way too crowded!! more

Greedy Vendors 5/16/2002

Over-priced for a bunch of junk!!! It used to be good, but now that it became popular it is way OVERPRICED!!!! If you want good deals on antiques go to the Orange Circle more
