Sensitive Skin Beware! 4/22/2007

I don't ever plan on returning to Rosaline's. I have sensitive, acne-prone skin with hyperpigmentation and thought Rosaline's would be a good choice since they're supposed to specialize in diverse skin and pigmentation probs. Well, the type of facial that Rosaline herself insisted upon giving me only broke me out and the product samples that she insisted I use only further broke me out. I also found her to be quite condescending--she kept announcing every little problem with my skin as if I'm not already aware. The facial was not at all relaxing with her constantly leaving the room to answer the phone, eating over me, and at one point loudly blowing her nose too close to my face. Yuck! more

Great eyebrow wax! 2/26/2007

This spa is close to my house but the middle of the road reviews made me nervous. I went in for an eyebrow wax anyway and its the best I've gotten in Boston so far!!! I'm always nervous about going into nail salons to get this done so I try to find nicer places to go (although 18 bucks for an eyebrow wax is a little steep) She did a really good job. She took me right on time and was fast and pain fee. She did exactly what I wanted her to and it came out great. I'll def. go back!!! more

I went to Rosaline's Skin Care last week a bikini waxing and a facial. I had not gone to the spa before, I discouvered the spa on google and just decided to give it a shot. I was very satisifed with the service the professinalism. The spa has a very warm feel to it and is tastefully decorated. It's very clean and the staff are very pleasant. They were no pressure to buy products, but they were recommended by the Esthetician. I bought two products and I am also pleased with the results. I highly recommended Rosalines's in Brookline a place for skin care and waxing serviced. more

Rosaline's is truly an oasis. A great place to go to relax and treat yourself. The staff is very professional, and the rooms are all very clean. I have always been treated as though I am the only customer, even when it is busy. Rosaline is extremely knowledgable about skin care - in fact, she can tell your skin type and appropriate treatments almost as soon as she meets you! Also, the products available are unique and luxurious. I do a lot of gift shopping here. more

WOW !! 3/13/2005

For the longest time I have been going to a Spa in Back Bay. This year, I received a Gift Certificate for Rosaline's and after one complete session, I am totally hooked. I got the works. (Facial, Waxing, and Massage). No Other Spa in this city will ever get my money again, as long as Rosaline's is around. It's a cozy environment, The staff is extremly warm and enviting and the services i received are 100% Top notch. Pros: Clean, Cozy, Polite more

don't get waxed here 7/1/2004

I've gotten waxed many times, and this was by far the most painful experience I have ever had. The lady put one big glob of wax on my bikini area and kept tugging at it to remove it, instead of tightening the skin and removing it in one swift motion. It was tremendously painful, and not all of the hair was removed. more
