Really looks natural! 2/8/2012

Dr Rooney did a "filling" on my front tooth to fill in a large chip, and create a more natural appearance. I am so pleased with the results, you would never know I had had anything done. He worked so hard to get the color and shape just right. In fact, he had it all done, and was not satisfied with the color, so he went over it all again! He really went above and beyond. He and his entire staff are friendly, yet efficient and very professional. This job was not just technical, but also a bit of "art", and creative design...he did a really nice job in every way. more

Excellent Service 2/4/2012

I just want to thank Dr. Rooney and all his staff for the excellent service. I greatly appreciate the care and concern which is shown to me each time that I visit the office. Every staff member goes to great lengths to make sure that my needs as a customer are met with satisfaction. I am always assured of a handshake with eye contact. Customer service is a lost art in most businesses these days; but, I have found that it flourishes in this office. Thanks again! more

scan 1/31/2012

To be honest, I wasn't that impressed. I like Dr. Rooney and his staff a lot, but I was given a scan which I already had at Dr. Holpuch's. The problem isn't the second scan. The problem is that the machine doesn't accomodate someone of my height. These machines don't clear my sholders when they rotate. They tend to move me, which as I understand it is a bad thing. Sitting down only makes the problem worse. When a person sits down it arches the neck and there is a collision with the shoilder muscles. I don't think that this is a problem unique to your machine, but it is to someone of my stature (6-3). I think that your gal needs more training in this regard. I hope that this is useful. Very Professional 1/24/2012

The hygienist was very gently and through. She also introduced me to a new product for sensitivity that helped to make the procedure much more comfortable. Dr Roney was very efficient and professional. Everyone there is friendly, yet they don't spend too much time on chit chat, they stay on schedule which I appreciate. I have never waited more than 10 minute. A positive experience. more

Overall 12/16/2011

Everyone very nice and Dr gave a great exam. I appreciate the time he took to really check everything. An offer to have something to read would of been nice while I waited for 40 mins in the chair before doc came would of been a good jester however. Otherwise, I am happy I changed dentist. more

I really shouldn't hate going to the dentist when the experience is such a pleasant one...Jennifer cleaned my teeth this time, and she was also very gentle, quick, but thorough. The front office staff is always upbeat and friendly. If you hate going to the dentist, you might want to try Dr. Rooney's office - they'll probably change your mind too! more

After teaching for three years in Madrid Spain, Dr. Rooney and his wife Monica returned to California, where he completed studies in Oral Biology and earned his D.D.S. from the University of California, San Francisco. After completing a one year residency program at the University of Florida, Dr. Rooney earned his Advanced Education in General Dentistry Certificate. Dr. Rooney has been practicing modern dentistry in Redding since he, Monica and their children, Connor & Sofia moved here in 2002.
