It was a nightmare dealing with this company. They damaged my deck boards when pressure washing. Their chemicals also blackened my cedar boards and all requests for repairs went unanswered. It was only when I contacted my credit card company and filed a dispute that the ""manager"" called me to address the issue. Even then the issue was never resolved. They simply made empty promises, as a result I dropped the dispute with my credit card company and they never stuck to their end of it. Obscene company to deal with. REPULSIVE! more

I hired these guys to stain and paint my deck. They did a very poor job, which lasted less than one year. more

Roof to Deck did an excellent job on removing my ice dam. I called in on a Tuesday and Wednesday morning they were already out working on my roof! Very quick service and respectful throughout the whole process. more

Roof to Deck seems like a great company to me. They handled there business very professionally and prompt while not having that "big" business feel to it. They did great work and was very satisfied after it was finished. I told my neighbors about it and would recommend to everyone. more

I feel like this outfit took me for a ride. They charged me what seems to be way too much to remove some ice dams and i couldnt be more dissatisfied. All about profit obviously more

I have been extremely frustrated with this company. Their main goal is profit. I had my deck stained one summer. The next summer, most of it had warn off. I said for the hundreds of dollars that I paid, I feel the stain should have some degree of warranty. With a fight, they said that they would give me a discount rate. I wasn't satisfied, but paid the extra to have the work done. The next spring, or spring of 2010, a lot of the stain had warn off. Again, they said that I was covered under some warranty and recharged me ( which I thought was too much money) and paid half down. Well, it has been two months now and the work is still not done. Last winter I called them for ice dam work. They came out and did the work for over $1000 dollars. All the work wasn't completed for that price, and the main area that I asked them to complete, wasn't even touched. They came back out and did the area that I requested. They sent me a bill for $1300, when I said that I didn't want the cost to exceed $ more

I asked for a bid in 2008, never spoke to anyone or received the bid but later received a brochure in the mail explaining Roof to Deck Restoration?s process for cleaning and restoring decks. I was impressed. I called this spring to have my deck restored and I was told that I had to put half down just to get put in the calendar. I was not pleased with this but they sent me paperwork to fill out and I didn?t submit my credit card number until I was ready to have the work done on my house. I sent them my credit card number. Glad I didn?t send them a check because they charged me without even scheduling a date to work on my deck! I called them and told them how dissatisfied I was with Roof to Deck Restoration. They said that last year they did not get paid on some jobs so that was how they ensured to get paid (I clearly understand why now). I told them it is customary to take the credit card number or the check but not cash it at least until the work was started. Manager, Justin in St. Paul didn?t really seem to care. I let this one slide and requested to be put on the calendar. So the day they were supposed to arrive I waited, and I waited for them. They did not show. Finally at 5:45 I decided to leave to go to the gym. When I got home I noticed a Roof to Deck Restoration sign in my yard which I gave them NO permission to put in my yard. Finally, 5 days later they call to schedule the next day to work on my deck. They come out and as it turns out, they did not do the railings or pillars (it is above ground ) of my deck! I was very upset. My deck is in desperate need of restoration, and it turns out that they did not even bid on my railings or pillars! (which I never received in the first place) I called and got more run around from Justin. I am bothered by the fact that they didn?t bother to bid on the railing portion of my deck when it is more than evident they were in need of the most restoration! That is like asking for a bid to paint my shed and someone showing up to paint only the door! I got the run around from Justin and I will tell everyone to not contract with Roof to Deck Restoration. I could have purchased a pressure washer and 10 dollars worth of stain at Menards and it would have been cheaper than hiring this rip off of a company to do the work!!!
