Just because you get a quote for say $5000 from one contractor and a quote for $7500 for an apples to apples quote, doesn’t mean that one is better or worse than the other. If you get a roof price quote by a company with hundreds of employees expect to pay more versus a quote from a smaller operator with only 20 employees. Roof Pro will be in the latter category. The important thing is that Roof Pro carries all the proper insurances and accreditation s. You can get those at the download page. more

The type of shingle you choose will have a direct effect on the overall roof cost. 3. The sheathing or decking of your current roof is a huge factor of installing your new roof. 4. Roofing contractors all have different operation costs, overhead and insurances. 5. City Codes make a huge difference in your roof estimate. Denver Roofing Contractors include five critical factors in giving an accurate roof quote. With the many types of roofing materials and the many aspects of constructing your new roof, choosing an experienced and reputable Colorado roofing contractor can be baffling and confusing. 5. Check the BBB and the Secretary of State websites. If a company does not show up on the BBB or the SOS site there is a good chance you are dealing with a storm chaser. Storm chasers don’t want to be traced so that when the roof they installed has issues they can’t be tracked. more

In 2009 hail caused nearly one billion dollars worth of property damage, much of that damage was done to roofs. Unfortunately the Denver area was also invaded by storm chasers. (storm chasers are roofers who literally chase catastrophic storms all over the U.S.) Storm chasers come into a heavily damaged area to make a fast buck, then they leave. more

There are over 300 days of sunshine in Colorado, every year in which roofing contractors can roof homes. However, what makes Colorado such a great place to work and live can create havoc on asphalt and shake shingled roofs especially during the warm months. more
