Took my dog Amber to Romie Lane Pet Hospital for the first time May 2013 because she wasn't eating. Amber and I couldn't be happier with the care and service she got. Amber is back home and eating again. If you are looking for a great vet in the Salinas area I would give them five stars. more

Worst VET in town!!!!! 11/16/2009

Took my sick dog here and they over charged me and when my dog didnt get better I took him to the emergency room in Ryan Ranch and they found what really was wrong with my dog. They refuse to give me a refund!!!! The Vet in Romie Lane does not know what he is doing.!!! Pros: They'll say there the best Cons: Will not give you a refund!! more

Great Care and Concern 6/29/2009

Our cat, Jinx disappeared for 19 days. He was found in a shed that he wondered into. He did not have food or water for that entire time and was near death. We took him to Dr. Ponder who never gave up on him. He kept Jinx with him through the night and pulled him through. That was 2 years ago and Jinx is healthy as ever...doesn't leave home.... they have always made time and room for my dogs and cats.\r they treat my animals as if they were there own. you can not ever find a better vet, and no one that is as loving.\r \r I love everyone that works there and would never take my animals any where else. more

I would greatly recommend going here. Dr. Ponder & Dr. Enriques are great! i used to work there but have since moved to Long Beach, my mom kept my cat and my sister takes her cat and mine to see Dr. Ponder. Great place, Caring staff and historic building! Pros: Staff more

Quality and lovin care. 1/13/2006

They made room for me the first time I called. My dog was very ill and my own vet did not take time to see us. All of our visits have been good for my animals. They work hard to make them comfertable and safe. In this world of rush, rush they think of the animals first. more
